As is my cousin. He likes his modified SKS a lot, though I'm not a fan. Not as fun, lol. I just like shotguns and revolvers. For one, they're not going to jam on me, and they're easier to maintain. And if I hit, they're gonna die.
That said, that's mainly what I was raised around, so I'm more comfortable with those. That and hunting rifles.
:/
I only held a gun twice before coming to America. It was a Enfield hunting rifle chambered for limey 303s my grandfather had.
And it was for hunting.
But then once here inside two years, I was American Army and I got trained on how to proper use a variety of weapons, and little by little I bought more and more, that kept up once I got out in 2007.
Now I have two assault rifles: a Bushmaster patrolman's assault carbine chambered for 5.56 and a Colt AR15 chambered for 2.23, Two shotguns a Remington 870 12 gauge and a Mossberg 500 tactical shotgun again in 12 gauge
Four standard rifles, my favorite of which is my Ruger miniball 14 semi automatic hunting rifle
One long distance rifle which is my newest gun, a Accuracy International L115 sniper rifle chambered for 3.38 and by far the best gun a Brit ever thought up
Oddles of Handguns (five in all) From my Glock 17 to a antique Luger.
