There was no such fling. She gave him a chaste kiss on the cheek. That is all. Anyone who thinks anything else happened is headcanoning.
It was a kiss showing interest. She definitely had feelings for him.

apparently she had a fling with a mage in DOTS, so we know drive is there
Ok, just checking. And you should watch DOTS on Youtube, it's good and it's canon.

I disagree. He had romantic feelings for her, but she doesn't seem to return them.
And even if so, there is no epilogue that says they have a fling after the events of the movie, so regardless of interpretation their 'relationship' ends with the chaste kiss I mentioned. After that, nobody knows.

Let's bring this to the devs...But the kiss sure showed she had interest. But what's the big deal? It happens like 20 years before DAi?

Then I had interest in my parents since I've kissed them on the cheek.
I'm just clearing up a misconception. People think Cassandra and Regalyan had a thing, and there is no in-lore evidence that says that. That's all I'm saying.
Yeah, there is no actual proof that Cassandra had a fling with Regalyn after DotS. Could she have? Sure it's definitely possible as that kiss on the cheek could be potentially Cassandra showing interest to Regalyn but it could've also been a chaste kiss to a friend. Regalyn obviously was interested in Cassandra but we were kinda guessing on if Cassandra had developed feelings more than friendship towards him. Considering she was anti-mage at the beginning of DotS, I'm leaning more towards that she only sees him as a friend as that would be quite the jump going in their relationship.
As far as IMDB is telling me, none of the writers from Bioware had anything to do with DTOS, so I'm not sure why people even use it as reference for anything.

Because Bioware accepts it as canon. Sort of like how Lucasarts accepted Star Wars EU books as canon despite nobody from Lucasarts was writing them.
Well, I know I don't normally kiss my friends on the cheek. Maybe other people do. I don't really kiss my family members on the cheek either, but sometimes they've kissed me on the cheek. Sorta weirds me out, personally, lol. Even if there were romantic feelings between them, a kiss on the cheek isn't the most absolute, "they are definitely dating, now" sign. It's not like it really matters, now. That was some time ago. Cassandra's moved on, if there was anything there, and is ready to embrace possible romance with our Inquisitors ![]()

Bruh, The kiss wan't like a mom and son kiss. I was a romantic kiss.
This is interesting.

Well then that's disappointing on Biowares end, because that movie was awful.
Speaking of DotS, I totally want Colleen Clinkenbeard as the other voice for the Inquisitor. ![]()
That and I use the DotS Cassandra appearance as a basis for my Human Warrior characters. ![]()

Different strokes for different folks. I personally loved the movie and thought it was great.
This is interesting.
Oh God, what a horrible interview...I'm actually really shocked at how bad this was, what the heck Laidlaw...
I liked Dawn of the Seeker quite a bit. I mean, it's not one of my favorite movies, but it was fairly good, I thought.
"And then, obviously, we wanted to make that sure she was hot."
"What we've seen in our Dragon age fans is that they love nothing more than a good leading man..."
"What we've seen in our Dragon age fans is that they love nothing more than a good leading man..."
even if our warden never spoke a single word of dialogue

Personally I think the anger of the second line should be directed at the fans who think that than Laidlaw. He's just the messenger. ![]()
Also(actually real reason I'm replying), lol at the Kevin Spacey gif. ![]()
Who said she has a sex drive?

No I loved it. Us DA fans love hot characters, it's true. Also, the movie is good for filling out the background of an important character.
I did. In that post you just quoted.
I am basing this on her being a love interest. Sure, she might be asexual, but given that our previous LIs have all had sex drives then I'll assume that's the case with Cassandra until I have evidence that's not the case.
Oh how I love you Maria. Yeah, I agree she has a sex drive and I would love it if she was secretly freaky deep down. I know she is a romantic person but freaky? Now that be funny.
Cassandra is going to go around, and every time we see one of Varric's books, she will leap down from on high and smite each one with the rage and technique of a Nevarran dragon hunter.

During a cold winter night we'll come back to a huge fire in the fireplace. We'll ask Cassandra where she found the kindling and she'll point to a bookcase that used to contain all of Varric's books and his in-progress writings.

Now, THAT would be hilarious
