Wonder how many times we will get to see Cassandra crack a smile or even laugh in Inquisition. Maybe she likes specific kinds of jokes. These pictures are making me hopeful

I think Aimo tends to overplay Cassandra's Aveline-like qualities.

That's fine because Aimo is great and the comics are funny. Comedy is often the product of exaggeration.

Oh god I hope not, I liked DotS but she was basically like a bull in a china shop for most it. More DA2 Cass and less of that is what I want

Once upon a time, there was an organization called the Inquisition. It was independent and powerful, and this pissed people off. Eventually it was cannibalized by the Chantry, which split it into the Seekers and Templars. While those two orders owe their existence to the Inquisition and fulfill some of their duties, they're not the same.

Oh, I know that. What I meant was that I thought what's left of the Seekers makes up the starting forces of the new Inquisition.

I agree, I loved Aveline, but since I'm gonna romance her, I want her to be more emotional at least on the inside.

I also hope shes less like aveline, because we have already had someone like aveline... its aveline.  I liked aveline, but it just seemed her character was so akward in a lot of cutscenes, even the ones not related to her romantic attempts.

Cass to me is not scared of romance like aveline. I think she might push you away at first then after a while open up more to you.

DA2 Cass was still a bull in a China shop, it's just that she didn't have to do any fighting once Varric stopped being a smartass. She's bit less impetuous now too, growing up and all that. A bit more ask question first, book slap later...

 

I don't expect the romance to be like Aveline at all. The big difference is that Cassandra is a romanticus at heart. Aveline never was.

 

I believe that Cassandra being a romantic was used in the old sense of the word which wasn't exclusively related to love. Basically, the way she used it in DA2. She also pretend that she's not into those things might I add which mean approaching her that way is probably a bad idea...

Not expecting Aveline at all, I don't see any similarities personality wise between the two. I don't even see Cassandra being awkward like a lot of fanfic and fanart shows. I'm not even sure where that is coming from, she haven't shown an ounce of awkwardness in DotS or DA2.
