I expect events might shake it, but she seems the sort to meet doubt with determination.

nah, especially since we have yet to see anybody dumb enough to renounce the faith, even anders didnt fully renounce it

I assumed that meant her faith in the Chantry and the status quo.

Why?
Because it's more fun when people are constantly discussing things related to Cassandra than just the occasional drop in and out. Look at the other threads, they're over 200+ pages but Cassandra is struggling to get to 150!

Different threads have different character. The Cassandra thread is subdued.
This was brought home to me one day when someone posted an image, I commented that I wasn't fond of it, and my post got 17 likes. Yet *not one* of those people posted their opinion and the matter was dropped. Most other threads would have had several pages where people bickered over the images.
Cassandra is a popular character, but her thread has less fluff. This is not a bad thing.

Hello Cassandra fans! So, I just realized I never actually posted in here, despite the fact that I've loved her ever since she went all 'Bullshit!' on Varric. I admit, I had some reservations about her in Inquisition, since I tend to go the pro-mage, anti-Chantry route in my games. But, hearing that she'll get along with Cole and Solas (the two companion characters I'm most interested in, and the two I most believed she wouldn't care for) has renewed my faith... And that line that's in the thread title...
That pretty much made her a shoe-in as the default warrior in my party. Can't wait to meet her in the game!

I guess so. I just wish more was going on in this thread. Things are too slow for a good character such as Cassandra.

I've been a fan of Cassandra since DA2. While I haven't seen Dawn Of The Seeker yet(heard it was good), I'm interested in seeing more of her character in Inquisition.

You know, Cassandra doesn't have a little quote thingy yet.
...or maybe I just can't find it.

well, we need to get everybody overhyped about her character, just like the cullen fans

No, she never got one for some reason. A shame really.

Greetings and salutations, fellow Cassandra fan!
Welcome to the thread. I also hope to use her as my main tank and look forward to her getting stabbed, burnt, frozen, poisoned, doused in acid, and turned into the occasional chew toy for dragons.

Maybe the devs intended to include a quote with her picture ("Bullshit!") but the profanity filter kept censoring it so they gave up.
Edit: Hmm, with some of the other surprisingly censored words I expected that to be filtered out too ![]()

Like others said, there is none. In fact, they didn't even bother with a new screenshot. But she also showed up quite a bit in the Spring trailer. They could have taken a quote from there too.

I wouldn't like it if by the end she'd turn her back on her faith.
I mean Cassandra , so far , is not my favorite companion.
But I can greatly admire people who use their faith as a fuel to do good thing.
The fact that she's doubting , will probably make me like her more.
I'm just unconfortable with blind faith , Leliana , made me roll my eyes for example.
She's nice and everything but I just can't help it.

Apparently you can say bullshit, but not without the bull... The Bull? There's a euphemism in there somewhere...
Even in DA2 I got the impression that while Cass has a strong sense of faith, she's neither blind nor stubborn about it. I feel like while I might disagree with her in the game on certain issues, I'll still be able to respect her views and she mine. Unquestioning faith in anything, particularly religious dogma, tends to put me off. I liked Leliana, but her reactions when I disagreed with her about her faith were rather off-putting. I like the idea of having a companion who's views i can challenge without them resenting me for it.
I know DA2 tried to implement something similar with the rivalry system, but despite what the devs claim about what that was supposed to be, I just felt like my so-called rivals hated me. Buuuut if I could make them hate me enough they'd stick by my side....? i just found it weird and uncomfortable, and the only ones I could do it with were Sebastian (because I personally did not care for his character at all) and Merrill (because I could see it as an 'I care about you but don't want you hurting yourself and others' sort of thing).
Anyway I could see Cassandra having a really fantastic friendship arc, even if it might take some work to impress her.

Is Cassandra bisexual in DA3?
We know she is an LI, but we don't know her orientation yet. Either heterosexual or bisexual.
