Instead of finding that suggestion boring or just humoring me, she'd go, "That sounds wonderful!" and mean it.

Afterwards, we'd go out for lamb burgers and custard, and then walk along the lakeside feeding the ducks. I'd have an entire bread bag full of crumbs ready because we both love to feed ducks.

...but I'm not seeing Cassandra liking any of that, so I don't know.

Eh, I could see her liking an Opera. Lel has probably dragged her to enough of them that they've grown on her, if she didn't like them before.

I could see one, or at least Leliana trying to start one.They've both worked with each other for years, and Leliana is a friendly person, so it'd make sense for her to attempt to be friends with Cass.

Initiate the conversation, many, many times. Just look at poor Galyan in DotS, for all his trouble he only got a kiss on a cheek after being told it wasn't the time or place for such things and the kiss on the cheek was a thank you for saving my life 3 times and showing me that not all mages are ev0l.

 

Cassandra is not dense, but she seems to put romance at the bottom of her priority list. There might also be a bit of courting decorum that need to be respected (only propose in a romantic place, candle light diner, flowers, etc).

I'm glad she's in 3 as a companion, I always liked her. Nice that she will have the same voice actress, too.

i just hope that Cassandra will have a mindset of 40 years old woman. because the thing i hate in Liara, for example, in her age she is nothing more than a teenager. and this is why i always wanted to throw her in the airlock. no wonder Shepard had nightmares, not only she carried entire conflict on her shoulders, she also was forced to endure this kindergarten of party members.

 

so i just hope with this circus of different orientations, races and genders, we at least could have a decent characters, who acts according to their age and experience.

What? Liara was a TEENAGER! In the eyes of the Asari anyways and what made you hate her?
