I was thinking we start at someplace doing things, get tossed into the Fade, fight a bunch of stuff in the Fade (combat tutorial), get spit out of Fade and land on Cassandra.
Sounds like fun

I wouldn't be surprised if we get to pick who our second in command is.
Naturally, I'll pick Sera.
Naw, I am pretty sure Cassandra is the second in command by default but even If we got to pick I'd chose her. I'm disappointed Maria, I thought you loved Cassandra? ![]()
I am little curious why we are the leader of the Inquisition but I am more excited that we are leader of a huge organization! I loved at the end of Origins and all of Awakening of having power and leading armies!

Probably because some religious significant is placed on the protagonist for surviving at a holy site, when everyone else died; likely similar to how Cassandra wanted the Champion to persuade either the mages or the templars towards peace, depending on which side saw the Champion as a hero.

Yeah and the fact that we can close rifts. But we get to lead an ARMY!!! YAY!!!

Technically, Cullen gets to lead an army. The Inquisitor get to lead 3 misfits that have all the chance of not getting along at all...

No, The Inquisitor leads the army, Cullen just follows our orders.
WE ARE KING

That would be compelling!
Kind of like the scene in Dawn of The Seeker when Regalyan lands on Cassandra, stares at her romantically and she pushes him off. I hope it's like that.

KInd of, but with more 'sword to the throat' action.

I see the Inquisitor as the glue that holds it all together.

There was a sex joke and a punch in the face too...
Speaking as someone who was kind of hoping for Cassandra to have some tsundere qualities to her romance, I found the interview with Gaider to be immensely encouraging.

Yeah, we are on top and then she pushes us off and does her thing with the sword
I like 'em feisty ![]()

Yeah, I was thinking that she punched him but couldn't remember.

I'd think Mage!Inquisitor's first instinct would be *fireball* at that point but I guess that doesn't happen as Cassandra survives the meeting.
Cassandra has templar powers, right? She must use them at that point to prevent a Mage!Inquisitor from doing bad magic stuff to her.

She doesn't have Templar powers.

LOL!
Cassandra: You're the only threat I see!
Mage Inquisitor: Take this ******!
*Cass blocks it with her Templar powers*
Mage Inquisitor: What?! Oh, not fair! *Hand glows green*
Cassandra: That's right-wait! You should be the Inquisitor! You have the power!

Varric: So the Warden and Hawke aren't available, why don't you or the Sister become Inquisitor?
Cassandra: Because we're backed by the Divine, and neither Templar or Mage will listen to us.
Varric: I don't see how anyone could say no to your sparkling personality and sunny smile.
Cassandra: (rolls eyes) Do you have anything constructive to add dwarf?
Varric: Not really, honestly it seems like you're expecting a candidate to pop out of thin air.
XD, Now I want this to be how it happens in-game.

I love Cassandra!
Also, I would love to see her reaction to Sera being made second-in-command and becoming her boss.
She probably kill Sera and then force you to choose her.

I wonder how many other people I can get her to knock off that way?
"Cassandra, I've decided to make the Empress of Orlais my second-in-comma... oh, there she goes. This will be interesting."
lol! "Cassandra, how about Anders as my second-in-command? He's been recently and mysteriously mutilated? Ok, moving on..."
She'll be one of my companions from beginning to end on the first playthrough, for sure!
At first I was gonna play as a warrior but now I'm thinking about a mage. That would be scandalous!
