I was thinking we start at someplace doing things, get tossed into the Fade, fight a bunch of stuff in the Fade (combat tutorial), get spit out of Fade and land on Cassandra.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get to pick who our second in command is.

Naturally, I'll pick Sera.

Naw, I am pretty sure Cassandra is the second in command by default but even If we got to pick I'd chose her. I'm disappointed Maria, I thought you loved Cassandra?

I am little curious why we are the leader of the Inquisition but I am more excited that we are leader of a huge organization! I loved at the end of Origins and all of Awakening of having power and leading armies!

Probably because some religious significant is placed on the protagonist for surviving at a holy site, when everyone else died; likely similar to how Cassandra wanted the Champion to persuade either the mages or the templars towards peace, depending on which side saw the Champion as a hero.

Technically, Cullen gets to lead an army. The Inquisitor get to lead 3 misfits that have all the chance of not getting along at all...

Kind of like the scene in Dawn of The Seeker when Regalyan lands on Cassandra, stares at her romantically and she pushes him off. I hope it's like that.

Speaking as someone who was kind of hoping for Cassandra to have some tsundere qualities to her romance, I found the interview with Gaider to be immensely encouraging.

I'd think Mage!Inquisitor's first instinct would be *fireball* at that point but I guess that doesn't happen as Cassandra survives the meeting.

 

Cassandra has templar powers, right?  She must use them at that point to prevent a Mage!Inquisitor from doing bad magic stuff to her.

She doesn't have Templar powers.

At first I was gonna play as a warrior but now I'm thinking about a mage. That would be scandalous!
