I love Cassandra!

Also, I would love to see her reaction to Sera being made second-in-command and becoming her boss.

Cassandra: "Inquisitor, you've been putting it off for days. The time has come to choose your second in command."

Inquisitor: "Well, alright then. Everyone get together!"

*Cassandra stands proudly at the front, everyone else behind her*

*Sera starts jumping, barely visible behind Iron Bull's shoulder*

Sera: "Ooh! Ooh! Pick me! Pick me!"

Inquisitor: "Sera it is then!"

Cassandra: "We're screwed."

No, The Inquisitor leads the army, Cullen just follows our orders.

WE ARE KING

200.gif

Kings got generals to lead their armies. Cullen is the leader thats fully in charge of the army . He takes orders from the Inquisitor and then gives those to the army.

We dont lead the army ourselves.

Actually, in some fights I think we do. In the E3 demo they talked about you can order troops to for example build a battering ram and bust down the enemy gate.

Alternatively:

Inquisitor: Varric, you're up.

Varric: So help me, if you make me do this, "His Eminence" is starting in Hard in Hightown IV: Hit Harder...

Inquisitor: Like I said, Cassandra, you're up.

We could just continue nominating other party members for second-in-command, watching each crash and burn: Sera gave away all our money to the poor, Iron Bull killed off both Templar and Mage delegations at a cease-fire meeting, Cole runs off screaming after seeing our logistics paperwork stack, and Solas keeps getting caught sleeping on the job, etc.

Eventually we'll have to pick Cassandra.

She doesn't have Templar powers.

The correct answer is "there have been no indication that Cassandra has Templar powers" (Seekers don't necessarily come from the Templar Order). Which suggest that she doesn't have any, but isn't the same thing has "it is confirmed she doesn't have any".

There was some dev comment that Dorian was impulsive just has much as Iron Bull and Sera. ;)

tumblr user goblin-king-of-thedas tweeted gaider asking if the rumor of his being "uncomfortable" with writing a f/f romance were true or not.

I agree with DG what a stupid thing to ask him.

From what I understand, he'll write according to what he thinks fits the character. Not for some arbitrary reason.

Who knows what that is though. I don't know Cassandra's character as he does, obviously.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been lurking for a while, so when I thought I had something relevant to add to the conversation, well.

Yeah, I'm a Cassandra fan. Glad to be here, surrounded by fellow members of the cult fanclub.  :P

"Cult of Cassandra" has a nice ring to it though, doesn't it?

No, we're over the guy who leads the armies which means WE lead the army. We could walk up to any soldier and tell them to do something and they'll do it.

You know what I just noticed? I don't recall a single instance of boob-armor in the series. Cassandra, Aveline and the rest of the ladies-in-armor have all worn functional -if ornate- armor. So thankyou bioware for that small detail so our female badasses actually look the part instead of being some teenagers eye-candy.
And for those of you interested, here's a video about why boob-armor is bad (other than looking stupid, that is):
