Cameron stated our forces' formation will change based on the choices we made and the factions we support, though I doubt you'll be able to teach the elves the dalish traditions :P.
I think she might not be happy about it, though ultimately I think she cares more about the recruits being good soldiers then their Faith.

I wonder if something would come up between us about the Inquisitor not being Andrastian? I suspect mine would be snarky about it.

I intend to allow all city elven members of the Inquisition to learn more about Dalish traditions and participate in our rituals if they so desire. Would Cassandra have an issue with this?

Perhaps not, so long as you have no problem with the Dalish members of the Inquisition being offered instruction in the Chant of Light?

I don't know. So far we don't know how she treats non-Andrastian.
Well, there's Varric, but I don't think it had much to do with his Faith.

It's not like the Chantry ever stops doing that.

I don't think Cassandra will be hostile towards differences in beliefs themselves. At most she may treat you with a mild neglect, but I doubt she'd even jump on your or be angry unless you actually DO something that goes against her morals, like killing people for no reason, etc.

Cassandra tends to be hostile as a default mode, at least until she gets to know you. :P

On this topic, I'm curious if we'll see Seekers in the templar forces.

I hope so, they'll probably be the top ranking people

Hopefully they'll look somewhat like this

Previously, our religious-minded companions have been rather mild and liberal in their treatment of those with different faiths. I wonder if Cassandra might be more of a hardliner.

I'm fine with no capes so long as we mantain the badass flowing coat that has been in nearly every concept art of the Inquisitor regardless of race or gender.

If so, that'll be a one-way ticket to mass hatred by a lot of the fanbase.

That would be interesting, personally I love heated debates between our companions,as long as they are not repetitive.Although to be honest I don't see Cassandra as a hardliner.

Given that she's supposed to get along well with Iron Bull, I don't foresee problems on that front. If anything, I think Cass will go out of her way to avoid letting her personal feelings compromise the mission, which could make life interesting for a smitten Inquisitor. ;)

If by interesting you mean soul-crushingly hard to romance her, then yes. I agree. I'm really curious about Cassandra. I'm still hoping she is bi, but if not I'll play a male character just to see how it goes. Mary Kirby described her as a 'very crusty baguette' according to the wiki.

I guess I'll have to butter her up. rimshot.gif

I have never based my opinion of a character on whether lots of people liked them or not.

I guess I'd like an Andrastian companion who'd actually be for an Exalted March. I feel like we're getting the hippie version of the religion.

To me, that sounds a bit like saying we're getting the hippie version of Tevinter with Dorian: we're getting the version of it that won't be killed off out of hand by a significant portion of the playerbase.

If we go through three Tevinter mages and they're all anti-slavery, I'll complain about getting the hippie version of Tevinter mages.

In short, we're not going to have companions who are outright villains.

If we can have Zevran, Anders, and Morrigan, we can have a Tevinter mage who is pro-slavery and an Andrestian who is pro-Exalted March*.

I hated Anders and enjoyed gutting him, but thought he was a solid character and one of the best parts of DA II. I found Morrigan's philosophy cartoonishly evil at time, but always had her in my party and enjoyed her character development.

Alternatively, I think Sebastian would have been a better character if they'd given him some teeth. I found him milquetoast and conventionally handsome, and I think that killed the character. People forget about him all the time. I never see people forgetting Shale or Javik.

* And I'd argue that launching a preemptive strike against the qunari isn't so much evil as it is pragmatic.
