Not at all. To say the truth, when I was little I found strange that in many countries spouses change their family names after marrying, since it doesn't happen in my country.

 

Also, I want someone to call the Inquisitor by other name than "Inquisitor"! Since Cassandra is already in the game, lines saying "Pentaghast" must have been recorded somewhere.

 

I imagine Varric's going to catch some flack for naming Hawke as "the one person who can help you put it all back together".

Think about it. Before spending so much time hearing Varric's story about the Champion, Cassandra had to hear Leliana's story about the Warden. Next time someone tries to tell her a new story, she'll probably try to stab them instead of another book.

I'm not surprised as they changed her DA II model a couple times before it came out.

 

 

 

 

Since Jade Empire, BioWare has provided awesome same-sex romances for women. I thought I'd be disappointed when I couldn't romance Morrigan, but then I romanced Leliana and she was sweet, girly, and devoted to me.

 

And you know what? Being female friends with Morrigan was great. When she told me I was like a sister, I got all sniffly and wanted to give her a hug.

 

I romanced Isabela in one playthrough of DA and Merrill in another. In each one, I liked the romance but I also liked the friendship.

 

For me, the Liara romance in Mass Effect was better than any of the others offered (I felt bad for Kaiden/Ashley fans after the Shadow Broker DLC, it was so good) but I enjoyed having Tali as a friend and wished they hadn't gutted the Jack and Miranda friendship paths in ME 2, because I loved the characters.

 

If Cassandra isn't an LI? Then I'll still love her because she'll still be a great character.  And I have no doubt that whatever s/s romance is available will be wonderful.

This is basically what I think. I've seen some people saying that if we have 6 Li, Vivienne would be likely lesbian. Well, if it is true, so be it. I will respect that and I'll make a female character lol. 

I will, in all probability, not be pleased that she of all people is the representative thereof.

That's because she is most likely second in command. I don't think she has to adress them with "Eminence" then. Though maybe she does on other moments.

What do you guys think about her character model now? They changed her up quite a bit from her DA2 face.

I don't mind her current look, but the blog describing how they arrived to it was a really disappointing read.

Simplifying the character to a single trait and then building entire appearance around the stereotypical interpretation of that trait isn't really any more interesting to me than just making them 'generic pretty', or less of a shallow cliche. That it doesn't even seem to have occurred to the person who made the character only makes it worse; gives me the feeling that in some ways BioWare artists are still stuck at the stage where one thinks the dial can only have one setting: 11.

If there are six, and Vivienne is the straight option, I'll scream because I want her for my female human mage. Preferably, I'd have her as the bisexual option because she doesn't seem like the type to sleep around and we've never really had that in an openly bisexual companion, (for Leliana, it was implied she was more promiscuous when she was a bard).

I'm not sure how "in-setting" the letter written by Vivienne is in today Follower Friday, but it was send to the Nevarran ambassador who is seventy-third in line for the Nevarran throne. Looks like there is plenty of people to take that throne around, I wonder where Cassandra stand on that long list.

Someone has suggested in Vivienne's thread that it may actually be a ploy to stop the Nevarran Ambassador to pry in the civil war. If there's something worse than a civil war, is having a civil war with other countries using yours as their playground. Probably nothing personal against Cassandra.
