It reminds me of the Imperial Highway, or Ostagar.
I was going to say the Imperial Highway as well.

They really changed Cassandra. Also I think I prefer her in heavy armor =)
Is that light armor? Interesting. I was so used to seeing her in heavy armor that I forgot that Inquisition will allow more variety.
Clipping with the sword, but the billow animation on the cloth is nice. The way cloth animates in TOR is unattractive. The shadows on her cheekbones are a bit too strong though and give her a gaunt look. I'm not sure if that's intended.
Even if the hair colour is a bit off (should be black), Cass looks badass indeed. ![]()
Also, dat trenchcoat. I want one for my Inquisitors too.

I was actually thinking this on the first trailer, but I didn't know if it was me being nit-picky, shallow, or etc. Haven't really noticed it since the first trailer though unless someone points it out. It kinda reminded me of when I made characters in customization, and accidentally got the cheecks too shallow.
We can't have that lol
Did her hair color change?
Yeah. Not sure if that's the game or if it's a result of low-quality screenshots.

Makes three of us.
Keeping on the image theme I've noticed fanart for Cassandra seems to be disappointingly low, although this is a new one for me:

Wow, her in light armor. Cool.
She's actually wearing a breastplate, but yeah, the rest is like light armor.

In the Twitter thread, it is said that Casssandra is a crusty baguette (hard on the outside , soft and fluffy on the inside). Not sure where that is coming from, because I saw no link to Mary's tweet and it wasn't in the recent list of FoodInquisition.
But I like it.
That room is the first level of the Tower of Ostigar.
Probably used as a generic background.
From the twitter thread:
I really love the armour design. You can really see Witcher influences in it

Yeah! I love crusty baguettes! It's a must for a meal. So Cassandra is a must for the party ![]()

Spoiler
Reminds me a bit of this image I saw while rummaging through David gaider's Tumblr the other day:
(Source: http://aimosketchcard.tumblr.com/)
What interested me the most was Gaiders comment about it: "The writers must see this. They will laugh, for reasons I shan’t discuss."
Gaiders Tumblr is full of cryptic messages, actually. There was also this in response to a Dragon Age confession begging for Cassandra to be an LI:
"As Cassandra’s writer, this makes me smile. I’m not sure it’s the sort of smile that instills confidence in others, but it feels good nevertheless. For me. Which, let’s face it, is all I really care about. ;)"
I don't know what to believe anymore!
That's why I don't pay attention to twitter in the like, just one cryptic comment after another.
They know we try and dissect any little scrap they give us. And they know that we know that. I'm not gonna play the meta game with these people.

Or more likely they both drew influence from the same thing.

What? No! There are definitely some golden nuggets out there

Unless you mean serious fanart...

It's not like The Witcher filed a trademark on medieval armor design. You might as well say you can clearly see the influence of ancient monks and their drawings of soldiers on their armor.
