I wonder if Cass has romanced someone before our Inquisitors?

Well she did share a chaste kiss on the cheek with that mage fellow, does that count?

Given she is probably in her mid-30s and in Dawn of the Seeker you could infer she had feelings for the mage (forget his name ><), I would say she probably has.  As to the details of that romance, I haven't the slightest idea.

Is that so, then why assume the worst about all modders/fanfiction writer who chose to turn gay/lesbian characters straight/bisexual?

Seems quite hypocritical to me.

I personally don't like it when people mess with character canon , so this is just general curiosity.

Because there is already an abundance of straight characters in fiction. Changing a gay characters sexuality is removing important representation, same goes with white-washing. I also personally don't like character cannon to be changed. As someone who is bisexual I dislike it especially when people think because they romanced a bi character as male/female that makes the character straight/gay.

Anyways this thread is off-topic and it's best put back on track.

Still sound hypocritical and also a bit self righteous, in the sense that "i get to do what i want and you don't, because reasons".

But your are right this isn't the place to discuss this, so on to the topic of Cass's possible romantic history, if the Inq is a mage and a romances ensues and assuming we learn about that her supposed "crush" i wonder if we can tease her being after our "magic" ;) .

I expect she has. She's a bit old to still be a virgin.

Yeah but that's as far as they went in the books if memory serves, they could have gotten farther while off scene..but that's just speculation.

Yeah but not virgin does not equal romance, then again she is described as a romantic so...

Why can't Cass and Josephine both be bi?

Gaider answered that question on his twitter last night, it's because they want to tell different stories. Beat me what that is exactly.

I'm ready to bet that Cullen is a virgin still, he is also going to be the awkward romance going by Mike Laidlaw's comment last PAX. I doubt they are going to make both the chantry soldier the exact same type of romance beside their gender.

Right.

I'm actually not that hopeful about that one...

Mhh...I wouldn't actually put being a virgin past her. From what we know she has been career military in a 24/7 type of an organization most of her life.*shrugs* Wouldn't surprise me if she's put career/duty before her personal life.

In addition to what ParagonPunk said, I have to mention (again) that straight people are not "correctively" raped with intention of turning them gay, and there are no "straight reparative therapies". So please, don't try to pretend that there is symmetry when there is none.

I will seriously roll my eyes if Cassandra is actually a virgin at the age of thirty...

It would just comes as a romantic comedy at that point.

I think that Cassandra had a sexual relationship with Galyan after Dawn of the Seeker, and they just drifted apart over time due to their time-intensive work. I don't know if she would have had any other relationships, but if she had one relationship fail due to her dedication to her job I can't see her starting another one.

I'm personally thinking that Cassandra is virgin. Or then, it's been a long time that she didn't have any love relationship with someone and she could feel awkward. I'm fine either way.

I don't think she will be a virgin. Sure her work as a Seeker and Hand of the Devine would hamper any long committed relationships, but that doesn't stop flings here and there.

We are talking about medieval fantasy here. Contraception as we know it doesn't exist, if at all (contraceptive magic?). I'd say that non-virgin heterosexual females who are not in a permanent arrangement would be in the minority. The fun didn't start for us in the real world till the 60's either ;)

I am also interested in what straight woman story they're going to tell with Cassandra.

Why do you think he's a virgin? We've seen married Templars and Templars in brothels. I'm going to guess that he's been hit on and propositioned previously.

Hopefully, we're not getting another Sebastion.

Poor Cassandra is women fighting to save the world but she has one little problem....She's a virgin!

Now Cassandra must win both a great war and the heart of her leader.

Featuring: Cullen, Josephine, Leliana, and Robb Schneider in the action packed romantic comedy of the year.

The Virgin Dragon Slayer

Rated PG-13.

Oh i read it, but you seems to generalize and equate a rape scenario to someone preferring lighter skin on a character or altering said characters sexuality and excuse away similar actions when it comes to changing canonly straight characters to suit gay/lesbian player/readers.

And as i said i object to any altering of character canon, but you are making assumption about the personal character of individuals who create such mods based on subjective evidence.

But i doubt much will come of this discussion, we can agree to disagree and get back to the topic at hand: Cass.
