What could he say that would not make the situation worse? You're going to criticize any explanation or rationalization he offers. +
Very likely. But I would always rather have a reason that I hate than no reason at all.

I have a quick question for you, a little off the topic of Cassandra, do you even plan on exploring a romance with Josephine or Sera?

She's not trolling. However, if you have an issue with her posts, you can always report them.
I interpreted the plans to annoy him until he answered satisfactorily as plans to. I'm just expressing my skepticism at the plan.
Josephine most definitely I've been waiting for her name alone for weeks now I need to wait for the actual game! ![]()
I'm a dude so I usually play male characters but if Sera wins me over then I may make a female character in another playthrough.

It wouldn't be direct, but by proximity to the fanbase continuing to be upset. Which would likely happen anyway, with or without my suggestion.
My real hope for Sera (Which was also my hope for Cassandra) is that we'll get some actual romantic and affectionate scenes/content with her romance. Sera comes off like she'd be too casual and fun loving for that kind of relationship and that's really my only concern for her, and it's based on very little information so I hope I am pleasantly incorrect.

I suspect Sera's going to have many layers. Much like her outfit.
Good morning, bsn!
Now, about Cass being masculine feminine (because this thread is moving too fast to completely keep up, haha)...I have allways seen her as masculine. Same as Aveline. Yeah, the body types in the game are all the same but i've allways held masculinity/femininity a personality thing than body type. Examples: One of my ex-bosses was a (straight)woman who was as masculine as they came. Nothing to do with her body, it was fit but avarage, but there was steel in her that was plain to see. Could shut up people up with a look.
A feminine example would be an ex co-worker. A straight man, bodybuilder with shaved head but was pretty much the sweetest dude you ever met. Married and works with children as a social worker now.
I'm still seeing a lot of "but Sera and Scribbles" replies here. The thing is, they are completely diffrent personalities than Cass. Not the same thing at all. The disappointment of the lesbian folks is justified here, even if Bioware does writers freedom to do as they wish with the characters. I think it was better back when dialogue was all text-based in rpgs, much easier to make variations in it at any points

As Allan Schumacher explains in the official romance thread, it's not JUST the writing (and the subsequently voice acting) that is expensive.
Cinematic design is also really expensive.
I'm disturbed by the categorization of masculine or feminine based upon personality.
I have never been bothered by a woman with some muscles in fact I find it to be very attractive whether its women in sports or in the service. ![]()
I like David. Half the time I feel bad for the guy.
I don't want him to face a pack of angry lesbians, especially when I'm part of the pack.
This was all his choice, was it not?

It might have been Jennifer Hepler.
Most definitely. I hadn't even wanted to romance Cassandra. I'm angry on the fanbase's behalf in general and my girlfriend's in particular.
Okay, I can respect that.
It might have been Jennifer Hepler.
Is there some sort of contractual obligation that Gaider cannot change any of Hepler's orientation decisions, if Hepler even made any?

A little muscle is okay but body builder or way more muscle than me?? Ewwwwww

I imagine he would have some degree of respect for his former colleague's artistic integrity.

Female body builder, no. Female athlete, very yes.
I feel as some women should at least try a male Inquisitor run. I tried a female Warden run and liked it because I role player and this is coming from a guy who likes to play a character in his perspective, so always a male character when given the choice. I know I'm rolling a female human mage for my 4th time around and I'll romance Sera.

:/
It's okay if you're not attracted to a person, but "eww" is not the right response to a person's body type.

Yeah, athlete is fine with me. Skylar Diggins, Maya Morre, Hope Solo, the Australian sprinter from SI? HELL YEAH!
Hmm, good question.
Well their looks obviously but you already addressed that. Isabella is fundamentally selfish in a lot of ways, at least until the very end of the game depending upon Hawkes choices. Cass doesn't come off that way. I'd imagine Isabella is the kind of person who would trip and old lady with an arm full of oranges in a market place to slow down someone chasing her (random mental image but there you go.)
Cassandra seems to have a moral compass or honor code that Isabella lacks, Cassandra seems willing to put others before herself. I'm sure there are more differences and similarities even but that's all the brain power I can muster at the moment.
I agree that the moral code of the two is pretty opposite. Though I think that while their "end goals" are pretty different, some of their means of getting there aren't so different maybe. I hadn't given it too much thought before seeing your post earlier, but both seem to be pretty opinionated, aggressive, and headstrong as well.
I do hope that Sera and Josephine are still able to blow your mind however! ![]()

Just expressing my feelings and opinions.

The entire division is arbitary based on cultural stereotypes of what is considered "manly" or "womanly". You have to build the terminology on something, you know. Though i fail to see what exactly is disturbing about people leaning towards one or the other.
