I think the better way to express your preference would be to say that you prefer not too much muscle.

Not to imply that those body types are gross. Especially since men get away with having tons of muscles, but soon as women have them, they're considered disgusting or unwomanly or something.

You under estimate how much you need your core muscles to swing a sword and fight with a shield.

I think arms, shoulders and abs on Cass would be in seriously good condition. Even a well balanced sword of the type Cass seems to use is pretty heavy to swing. Now add a shield to the other hand and full plate and you got an upperbody/midriff workout that would make even the most devout gym rat whimper

That depends more on diet than anything else. Doesn't matter how much exercise you do if you eat more than you use.
