It'll take a lot more to impress Cassandra. I'm sure of that.
Have you seen Dawn of the Seeker? I'm surprised she was even impressed with Hawke's antics.
It must've been the way Varric told the story.

I wonder if there will be a 'bunnies slaughtered' statistic in the 'Heroic Feats' screen. Skyrim had one. It was rather rewarding to see it build up, like it was an all-important goal.
That almost makes me wish there was a cooking minigame. If your attempt results in an epic fail, you get the achievement "Just like Alistair used to make".
On topic: I'm curious how Cassandra will go from threatening the Inquisitor to falling in love with him...

"Uniform grey" stew. Nice.

didnt fable used to have a chickens kicked stat?
On one hand while it's great to see the Cassandra thread pick up in popularity so much over the past couple of days it's sad that much of that has come about due to the disappointment of some of our fellow Pentaghastals™
I know them feels after I found out Aveline wasn't interested in my Hawke.

Shouldn't that be "nugs slaughtered" for Dragon Age? ![]()
catching up...
Knowing Gaider it would go something like "Because I felt like it" and the discussion would end, which is not an entirely invalid stance, it's just one that really upsets me.
He is quite adamant that she is straight on his twitter. Maybe after the game is released he's going to write a tumblr on how he define a character sexuality.
Unless she does a lot of abdominal exercise, I don't think that Cassandra would necessarily have a six-pack.
My sister is starting to have a six-pack...from doing yoga.
lol.. now I wonder what her diet is. maybe she's a vegetarian.
Looking at Cassandra, I expect there to be lots of proteins in her diets.

I have the strange impression that Cassandra might not be aware that she's more awesome than most of the people she is a fan off.
She calls her brother the best dragon hunter in the family, yet I have issues seeing the guy killing dragons faster than she does and Byron said Cassandra was the best fighter he ever meet (and she dismiss his claim).
She was all "Hawke is so awesome to take down the Arishok in single combat", yet she one-shot dragons, golems and ogre easier than you can do it in the game(s) (DotS might be a bit exaggerated I guess).
That's either self-esteem issues or an overachiever who think all she does is "normal" or she is a perfectionist and she's not happy yet about her results.
We learned that each companion has his own body, so I expect to see Cassandra with muscles.

Yes please.
You can have lots of proteins in your diet while not eating meat.
She says that it's romantic of Hawke to duel the Arishok, and it is. She's not just responding to the PC beating him; she probably would have found it romantic even if Hawke had died.
I doubt David will approach the subject of Cassandra's sexuality. He's never felt the need to explain why Morrigan, Viconia, Bastila, or any other romance he's written is straight, why would he start doing so?
She probably would I found it romantic even with a dead Hawke. Why did we need a "game over" screen right after dying, they should have gone with:
Cassandra: That was so...romantic
Varric: Wait, not that's not what happened...
<game over/reload>
As for the last thing, I wasn't talking about Cassandra especially, more in a broad writing design process. Gaider's insight in the writing process are always entertaining to read.

A 6pack requires low body fat, not weightlifting.
Anyone and everyone has abs, it's just that the fat is usually covering it.

Battle of the squealing plains, redux! ![]()
Impressing Cassandra...thats a tough one. With her i think the best way is to display strong backbone and holding your ground against extreme adversity. Physical feats might be nice but being the badass she is, she could be expecting them of you anyway.

Yup. Bodyfat determines how visible they are. But like all muscles, they too grow with exercise ![]()

I think we can assume that DotS is very exaggerated. You'd think that there'd be a bit more talk about it if four high dragons attacked the Grand Cathedral. And that otherwise she has become a much much worse fighter with age.
We learned that each companion has his own body, so I expect to see Cassandra with muscles.
Yes! After all that teasing with Sera's abs showing through her clothes and then not being available I hope Cassandra has even better ones.
Where did those even come from? This is before the events of DA:O. I don't see a bunch of blood mages having golems in their back pockets.
Minrathous has golems of its own. So I guess if a blood mage was influential enough they could buy some, maybe Minrathous have their own version of the anvil.
to get her all hot and bothered huh...... have varric recite all of isabella's banter lines from da2
Just ask her if she'd like to duel your arishok.

Beside closely related people, few characters talks about the DAO Warden in DA2 and that was a much more recent event.
The dragons attacking the Grand Cathedral are part of the official timeline in both the official website and World of Thedas.
This is the one.
Just ask her if she'd like to duel your arishok.
Hey, Cass...would you like to...ogre my Carver?
Possess my mage?
Annul my Circle?
Swoop my barbarian?
Roast my nug?
Submit to my taint?
Shank my Anders?
Cassandra: "No."
I recall a scene where about two dozen golems appeared and she starts fighting them, taking down about seven before she gets overwhelmed.
Where did those even come from? This is before the events of DA:O. I don't see a bunch of blood mages having golems in their back pockets. Then after she runs from them, you don't see them again. If I were a group of mages with golems, I'd use them on my attack of the Grand Cathedral.
Perhaps Dawn of the Seeker is one of Leliana or Varric's stories.
That's the most coherent explanation, to be sure, as that scene and basically every scene with ogres was completely nonsensical.
