If a child is involved in her romance, it's epilogue stuff, not middle of the game stuff. Maybe she'll mention it towards the end, but I don't know if we will ever see children in romances again
Can I get a hallelujah!

..I had to think about this more.
It doesn't seem Gaider's style to write two characters that are as openminded about similar things. You have Dorian on one hand, and Cass the other. They're not going to like the same stuff. That much I'll guess.
David has said Cassandra is straight because there's a specific story he wants to tell. Her sexuality is not just something he picked out of a hat.
Oh? I'm looking foward to it then.
The last time Mr.Gaider wrote a character whose sexuality was important, we ended up with it being the only way to defeat the Big Bad without the need for a sacrifice by way of birthing something that had never existed before in the form of an Old God reborn as a human.
It should be interesting, at any rate.
Maybe Cassandra had a child with her dead husband, whom the male Inquisitor reminds her of. And maybe she thinks the child is dead, but he or she was really kidnapped, or she's estranged from the child!
I've heard that this is a very plausible scenario that can happen to heterosexuals on occasion.
Well, maybe Dorian is super interested in how Nevarra does things, but that irks Cassandra as she is not a fan of Tevinter and may not be too squishy about magic. Conversely, she might be really interested in why he dislikes his Tevinter is run, but he doesn't like talking about the things that go on, or that his family does...I had to think about this more.

Happened to me just last week!
My condolences.

It'll be interesting. I don't get the feeling they'll be too much in conflict.. But yet very different still.
Not like Alistair and Morrigan. Or Fenris and Anders (I know Hepler wrote Anders, but apparently the general ideas were already set by Gaider).

OGB 2.0 incoming.

The child isn't a... blood mage now, is he?

I think you just combined every father LI thing from every Bioware game ever.
Didn't Gaider write Morrigan? That romance definitely involved children.
It really didn't. The DR doesn't count as making it a romance about children.
I guess I'm unsure as to why you object to the question. If David made these characters because he wanted to tell different stories and their sexuality it part of it, why is it a problem to ask about them?

If the resolution to DAI's plot is that Cassandra just really needs to get laid, I'm going to laugh myself into delirium.

Huh? They both like men.

If you guys have a such a low view of the writing or motivations, why even stick around this long? ![]()

And we spend the entire game trying to convince her.
Wait, we're talking about children? What happened when I was away?

I don't know, but they're bringing me down.

Men who are player characters to boot.
You're going to be a gender nonspecific life giver- we thought you knew.Wait, we're talking about children? What happened when I was away?

I'm going to laugh if having Dorian and Cassandra in the party result in banter about men.
Thinking about it, the Bechdel test needs to add gay men to its parameters.
And we spend the entire game trying to convince her.
