It really didn't. The DR doesn't count as making it a romance about children.
If you have sex with Morrigan, she has a child.

I'm going to laugh if having Dorian and Cassandra in the party result in banter about men.
Thinking about it, the Bechdel test needs to add gay men to its parameters.
They'll learn to see past their differences when they discover that they both think that the male inquisitor has a nice ass.

I just want them to talk about dead men. And women too, I suppose. Maybe children and small animals.
I don't know, but they're bringing me down.

She had blue balls so hard hell was released on Earth and millions died? Seems accurate.
Wait what?
Thedas, my bad.Wait what?

That's true, but we have no hints that she's pregnant until after she leaves the party. So while you might end up siring a child with her, it's not part of the DA:O romance.
If the resolution to DAI's plot is that Cassandra just really needs to get laid, I'm going to laugh myself into delirium.
That wouldn't be much of a romance would it?

They can secretly crush on the Inquisitor together.

The blue balls part actually ![]()

So? It's in the epilogue.
It's part of the romance. Just not a necessarily integral or required one.
Ovaries are balls, too! #WorstEqualityMottoEverThe blue balls part actually

I'm pretty sure brass ovaries can't turn blue.
Bioware has said stuff like marriage and children won't happen in DAI.

"Morrigan got knocked up and left forever and the Warden never knew" isn't really a romance that involves children.

I'd say Witch Hunt added to it.
Why would you add gay men to the Bechdel test?
They're not women.
For the same reason the Bechdel test is useful: to identify when characters are being used for their stereotypical orientation rather than other characterization. The Bechdel test was designed in the concept of male-female relationships, but it can also be used for how well any person and/or orientation can function outside that presumed portfolio of interests.
For someone who wants gay men to be so normal and accepted that being gay is no longer a dominating factor, you might want to apply a similar (if altered) ruberik: can two gay individuals interact without focusing on their orientation?
It's different, but some of the underlying desires can apply.
Witch Hunt happens even if you didn't buy the DLC.
It does, but I was just talking about the romance arc was it was present in DA:O, using it as a parallel to DA:I.
But even if we count WH, that's one conversation with Morrigan about it in a post-epilogue DLC, and far more about leaving with her than raising the kid.
I'd say Witch Hunt added to it.
Fair enough. I'm not going to contest that WH added a lot to the romance, just that it didn't add much to the kid angle.

So it seems Cassandra is going to get along with a decent amount of the companions. Do any of you see any companions that she will probably be at odds with for most of the game. Vivienne and Iron Bull seem to get along with her fine judging from the interview, but it's said there is a little tension in beliefs. Varric will probably be a little bitter towards her for a little bit, but I think he will get over it. But what of the other companions?
In my perspective I think she will be cautious around Cole. Maybe she will get along with Dorian since necromancy is probably something she will overlook. Not sure about Sera, but it seems like she is not the type to respect authority unless she has to. Blackwall I'm sure she will get along with for his way of thinking if anything. For Solas I think it is implied they will respect each other considering the team name associated with them as well as Solas is seeming like he is going to be mature.
This thread has been a bit of a downer lately. Too much disappointment hanging in the air. But sometimes it has pictures of very fit ladies or Cassandra on it so I stick around
Did I miss the fit ladies?
