..............idk, but i would assume so..... i mean isnt everything released in japan?
Only very few western games are released in Japan, and they usually aren't played a whole lot. Especially not WRPGs.

Yes, both DA:O and DA2 got a Japanese release--though only DA2 got a Japanese voice track, IIRC.
If you're curious about what Cassandra sounded like in Japanese, I have some videos up (link is in my signature). ![]()

LadyInsainity interview with Gaider has some info about Nevarra.
I'm not imagining Cassandra and her brother playing in a cemetery...full of undeads.

I'm currently having this image in my head of Cassandra and her brother dancing while an undead band is playing "Let her dance" by Bobby Fuller Four.

I played through a module of Neverwinter Night Online a few months ago that had a similar plot to that. Well, the song wasn't "Let her dance", but the whole thing is close enough.
I also wonder if Nevarrans kill an undead or someone when a baby is born, to keep the life & death balance. They are really starting to be my favorite people in Thedas.
Oh dear, it also makes you wonder what Cassandra thinks is romantic. Maybe she does find necromancer romantic. Hopefully. I really want her to be a stereotypical Nevarran for the simple reasons we haven't interacted with any of them yet and it would feel weird to have Nevarran's info dump from someone who is somewhat against it.
The problem is that it would make Cassandra a really weird Seeker and Chantry hardliner if that was the case... Or maybe that is the point, everyone think she is that type of Andrastian, when she isn't at all.

I think her hardass Chantry behavior stems back to her brother's death, most of all. It wasn't until Regalyan that she eased up a bit. I don't think it had anything to do with being touched with Nevarran heritage.

I meant that in the sense that the Chantry doesn't look fondly on spirits and undeads. While Cassandra should be totally fine with those things if she is a typical Nevarran.
The Chantry is a lot more than just mages = dangerous.

I think a mage necromancer inquisitor is definitely gonna be fun if you plan to romance her.

Maybe so. If we're to assume people are representatives of their origin culture. Hard to say. That's not always the case. Varric isn't. Dorian isn't. Iron Bull..probably not. Etc..
I know I'm not myself.
It'll be fun finding out, of course.. I'll find her interesting either way.

You realize that the three people you listed are actually representative of their culture right? Varric acted like the few surface dwarves we meet: all about business opportunities. Iron Bull still believe in the Qun, he is only atypical because he isn't stoic like the Arishok or Sten which is a personality trait not a cultural one. Dorian needs to be pro-mage-rule for him to clash with Vivienne which is Tevinter main social characteristic.

Since the Human Inquisitor is a Free Marcher, it's only fitting for Cassandra right? I mean, she just loves Free Marcher men (Varric, Hawke(Free Marcher decadence)

Given Nevarra's used to be a part of the Free Marches, I wonder if the Trevalyans and Pentaghasts have a history.
