Given Nevarra's used to be a part of the Free Marches, I wonder if the Trevalyans and Pentaghasts have a history.

It's a shame Cass has no interest in claiming the Nevarren throne.

Regardless, I'm kinda hoping so. That would be interesting.

The Pentaghasts are a sprawling clan, they also expanded Nevarra by annexing Free Marcher land/cities (well the Van Markham started it). It's called a "bloody expansion" in the lore.

Some one from one of the city states in an area called the Free Marches, located across the Amaranthine sea from Fereldan. Kickwall, for example, is a Free Marches city state.

A person from one of the cities in the free Marchers, which is basically a region formed by indipendant city-states. Think of ancient Greece or medieval Italy.

I have a feeling the the human mage Inquisitor will be from the Kirkwall Circle. It would be awesome if it were true. I don't think the Trevelyan family is from Kirkwall, just the mage.

That would be impossible with the Annulment of the Gallows in 9:37 and the mage/templar war started after that leaving no time to rebuild the circle. Starkhaven was also Annulled a few years earlier. That leaves one of the following cities: Ansburg, Markham or Ostwick (the known Free Marcher cities with circles).

I honestly doubt it. You'd definitely knew Cullen in this case.
I hope they'd update the side with backgrounds info and PC's screenshots.

It's possible that the human mage inquisitor could have been born in one city, and then taken to a circle in another city or country.

For examples, they could be born in Starkhaven but made a part of Cumberland's circle.

At the end of DA2, were all the mages dead? If so, why the hell was a pro mage Hawke doing?

I highly doubt we would be from kirkwall, given the events of da2 i dont think anyone would trust a mage from their circle

The problem is in explaining to the new played why their character knows Cullen. Plus, I don't see any PC Knowing some of the advisors beforehand. Not to mention the character will have more knowledge of the events in Kirkwall then player might have.
And i don't honestly see how being from Kirkwall Circle makes the human mage more interesting. Might be because of my opinion of the city though.

Qunari mage. Or warrior. Anyway, some form of Qunari. Because Qunari are awesome.

Human male, at least at first. I've played through Origins a dozen times, I think DAI has potential for twice as many playthroughs. I'm going to be busy for a whole year...
