Don't know why, but I feel like this fits Cassandra. Maybe it's after seeing the movie. Or maybe it's because I've been obsessed with this song lately and feel compelled to share it. Or both. XD

A long time ago (read in the 90s) Ascii art images were super popular, mostly because image tag didn't exist yet. Their popularity seriously took a dive in the last 10 years.
I always found them cool personally.

I don't think she will be gated. It is likely the last 2 which are gated. I suspect varic will be a li, and gated.

I don't think we should rule out the possibility that Cass might be race-gated. I know we can't really come up with reasons for her to be, but beter to expect the worse and prepare for it.

The devs have been careful to not link the "there is 2 race-gated romances" to the "there are two LIs left to announce". We probably won't even learn who are the race-gated LIs are until they are done with the LI reveals or the game launch. It is story-based, it might be a spoiler that they don't want to reveal.
As for Cassandra, she could easily be human (noble) only if they push the noble angle, but we already know she left that behind. Any race-gating on her would require an explanation based on information we don't know yet.

Humans are probably available to everyone (hooray) except for Varric if he is a romance option and race-gated.
