So I'm hoping we can start the romance immediately. I'm picturing:
Cassandra: "At this moment, *sword to Inquisitor's throat* YOU are the only threat I see!"
Inquisitor: ". . . I am so attracted to you right now."

I was thinking that too X3

A part of me want that to actually cause the romance to fail, because Cassandra doesn't like BS...
on the other side, her reaction would be hilarious, so I'm conflicted here.
For me the whole "trying to woo Cassandra while she holds the sword to the inquisitor's throat" has gotten old. It was kinda cute at first, but now the dialogue's are getting unoriginal and cheesy (no offense to the people who write them).

I figure the first step in any relationship with Cassandra is to not get stabbed by her.
I wonder what the drama of the relationship will be?
She stabs the Inquisitor's prized, limited edition signed copy of "Hard In Hightown".
I wonder what her loyalty mission will be?
To get Varric to stop writing "revenge fics" about her.

You can't see me right now but I am throwing cash at my monitor.
So I just watch dawn of the seeker on hulu plus....pretty good movie with cassandra
The dialogue was absolutely horrendous.
"It's true....the circle of magi and blood mages are both mages..."
Other than that though, yeah I enjoyed the movie. Seether's remix of their Desire for Need was awesome too.
I must be the only one who hated that movie, but then again anime writing makes my face hurt.
hmm guessing things about Cassandra, the character we know a lot about and yet not...
Drama in the relationship:
None, which means everything of course.
Personal quest:
I'm torn between something related to her family/brother and something related to the Chantry/Seekers. The problem here is that the Chantry/Seekers stuff should be a major part of the game, not just centered on Cassandra and her family/brother stuff is in another country.
This leave BioWare favorite trope: estranged family member and/or ex-lover found in a totally random place, most likely very dead too.

Hooray.
REGALYAAAAAN!
*shakes fist*

The Seekers could be both a major part of the plot as well as a personal issue for Cassandra. Maybe she feels betrayed by them. An organization she believed in has failed to live up to its ideals. What do you do when something you devoted your life to is no longer what it originally stood for?
From the interview
"What we find in Inquisition is a Cassandra who's realizing the world doesn't work like she believed it does. Her duty is not absolute, and perhaps neither is her faith. Having doubt need not make either of those things weaker, however, and that's the path that Cassandra has to now walk."
I'd assume her personal story line will play into that.

Cassandra's issues with the Seekers can be dealt with when we encounter them in the game the exact same way that Dorian and his former master interact in the E3 demo. Dorian is optional for that quest, you just don't get the extra dialogs if he is not present.
In all BioWare games that had them (see KoTOR, DAO, ME2, DA2, SWTOR for example), personal quests for characters are "unfinished business" that are disconnected from the PC story (mostly, I guess we can argue over Varric and Bertrand in DA2). The question is what is Cassandra's unfinished business. It should be noted that not all companions necessarily get those though. Cassandra might not have any.

That's her character arc, which is super-duper vague and perspective based...

Cassandra: "At this moment, *sword to Inquisitor's throat* YOU are the only threat I see!"
Me: That's right girl. Talk dirty to ME!
I wonder if a pro-Order Inquisitor could restore her faith.

Can't wait to see this arc in Cass. Really excited to see her character develop. I personally would like to help her strengthen her faith, cause it seems to be such a large part of who she is.

Her faith was in a doomed cause. I believe it's time for something new.
Honestly, I would love if Cassandra became less dedicated to the Chantry.

Doomed? I don't believe so. Made a crap ton of errors, yes, but what religion doesn't these days? Just cause the Catholic Church f's up a lot, doesn't mean my own faith in the overall picture has been broken.

The Chantry's been nothing but unpleasant to the Dalish; I see no reason why my Inquisitor would want to bring Cassandra back into that. At least Leliana in Origins was a heretic who didn't seem that fond of the Chantry.

I beg to differ. Miranda in Mass effect strongly believed what Cerberus was doing was an good cause, however, she didn't thought twice before quitting and giving them the finger when she realized they were douches hiding behind good intentions.
