On the top of my head, they made Carth and Thane. Maybe others i don't recall.

Sky's kid is dead no? Unlike the other two.
But they never had a single mother romance option before, it seems to be a "male option" romance trope so far.
Here's the entire Encyclopedia Britannica.
Two sovereigns say that Cassandra could stab through at least volume 16.

Kind of depends how you count Samara.

Samara is a single mother if I recall and you can romance her in the mass effect series.
Well, she's kinda sorta romanceable. You can get a scene in the Citadel DLC. Not really a fully fleshed out romance arc, but it's something.
Oh, had no idea Samara is romanceable. I know she turns you down in ME2
Well, not in the actual base game. In the Citadel DLC, however, this can happen.
I don't count Samara has a romance. She turns you down and Citadel DLC is pure fan service in my eyes.
Fan service shouldn't automatically mean that something is bad. I'm pretty certain that the CItadel DLC is considered canon.
I just came up with a thought: what if Cassandra is a single mother (father is regalyan whose dead)
I don't think bioware has ever a parent as a love interest. I'd love to see Cassandra as a strong single mother thats conflicted between family, duty and honor.
Nah, she strikes me as a woman who's work is her life and so a relationship with her would be hard to pull off unless she is working with that person. Also, I imagine that if she did have kids, she wouldn't want to be away from them for a long period of time which her job does frequently.
Another big thing is that Regalyn and Cassandra had different jobs that would keep them from each other a lot. They might have attempted a relationship but I don't think it would have worked in the long run.
If any of the female love interests or potential love interests was to be a single mother, I'd think it would be Josephine. Her job is not nearly as dangerous and has a lot less traveling so bringing a child along to raise wouldn't be nearly as hard as the child would have some stability.
Vivienne strikes me as even more of a career woman that wouldn't want something like kids to slow her down. Not only that but it would create some scandal for her as well and that could be a bad thing since her position is probably pretty precarious as a mage. Also, the child would be taken away from her before the mage rebellion so that would be another reason for her to not want one.

I'm not saying it's bad in term of content (I haven't played it anyway). My issue with it is that there was no point to make Samara turn back on her answer in ME2. It's like if they had made Aveline broke with Donnic and made her run after Hawke in a DA2 DLC. It's just meh.
To me, the Mass Effect series end up has a generic "male power fantasy". As a woman player, it's actually pathetic to watch unfold.
I don't really think Samara is an example of the male power fantasy when she can be romanced by a female Shepard. It's more like a hero power fantasy in this case.
I'm not sure she'd even give you the chance. Cassandra seems very alpha personality, very territorial when it comes to things like this. She let you into a very private and intimate part of her emotional sphere. Admit that kind of betrayal, and I think she'd drop you like yesterday's garbage and lock the sphere up for good.
Cass: So it seems I alone am not good enough for you, Inquisitor?
Inquisitor: *rolls a 3 on Persuade check* Derp....
Cass: I suppose the best part is that Josephine and Vivienne already know what kind of man you are. Good luck convincing Sera to sleep with you. Though I'm certain the Iron Bull will respond to your desires. I hear he enjoys #$%&ing assholes.
Ok, maybe the gay pun is going a bit far, but come one, I think Cassandra would be pretty pissed. And rightly so. Ohh, and the Sera line makes me imagine Sera leading the Inquisitor on, just to toy with him to get some form of revenge for Cassandra.
Cheating!Inquisitor: Come on, Sera, you gotta admit you were curious at some point....being with a man? We can do things a woman can't....
Sera:*suppresses internal gagging* Oh, Inquisitor, I've never really thought about it....being with a big, strong man like you.....I've...never done it that way before. Promise you'll be gentle?
Inquisitor: Sure, baby, come to my room....
*The two walk down the hallway, passing by Cassandra on the way to the Inquisitor's room*
Cassandra: *evil glare*
Sera: *twirls a knife behind her back and gives Cassandra wink*
Cassandra: *evil smile as she walks away*
Damn, that seems like a cool scene....Sera gonna kill the Inquisitor or cut something off?

From my point of view, the "female/female" content was designed with male playing female Shepard in mind. I guess you need to be a woman to realize that ass shot of Miranda are totally out of place when playing a female Shepard (that's not the worst of it by the way).

As a man, I respectfully disagree. I overall enjoy Miranda's romance in general and her as a character, but the ass shots were very jarring and downright comical at one point.

The Mass Effect team has always been upfront that dudeShep was their vision of the character. I often got the sense that Hudson and others on the team would have been happy to have a pre-defined protagonist like Geralt of Rivia or Adam Jesson.

Delayed till the 18th of November???!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Thank you:)

With most men, just the threat of the latter is enough to make them apologize most profusely.
I love Miranda (one of my top 5 squadmates in ME, and my favourite LI), but the ass shots were ridicolous.
Same, my canon Shep's romance. I wish she was a Squad-mate in ME3 like she was suppose to and I wished her romance in ME3 was better
