Flowers and chocolates...Thedas has chocolate right? RIGH?
If they have cookies they should have chocolate lol

I absolutely agree.
What makes anyone even think she'd be interested in kinky sex?
She likes being in control, giving orders and having others follow said orders.
Most women in a positions of authority are not closet dominatrices.
Never said they were, however Cassandra has been... "Without" for awhile, I'm sure, due to her duties. Though I doubt she's a virgin as she is human and wasn't always super dedicated to the order.

We actually know precisely nothing about Cassandra's sex life beyond that male player characters can join it.

I doubt she's never been in a romantic relationship but I'd be greatly amused if she were. I think it'd be cute (think Merrill without the elf problems and blood magic).
I absolutely agree.

I'm not religious myself but i have quite a few friends who are IRL and go to those christian summer retreats and such and go to all sorts of events. I hear stories from each of them and after doing some research of my own it seems to be a common sterotype that:
Church girls are freaks. (Lady on the streets, freak in the sheets kind of thing)
Obviously not everyone is and it's probably not the majority but its a stereotype that many men have experienced first hand.

What does "without" have to do with it exactly?
For all we know, Cassandra could have a harem of males at the ready for her needs without there being any s&m in sight.
About the kinky sex topic, people are just having fun. Chill!
I absolutely agree.

To quote a Cracked.com article from a couple months ago; "I hate to be the one to tell you this, but everyone f*cks weird. And if you don't, then you're weird and the rest of us are all a little afraid of you."
Seriously, though, the romance scenes are going to fade to black before anything serious happens. Cassandra, like all the other LI's, is going to have whatever type of sex the player chooses to imagine her having.

Ah, I see. So people are essentially extrapolating from the trope of the "freaky church girl." Personally, I hope Cassandra's romance does NOT go in this direction.
I'm already experiencing this in real life ![]()
Nope, they're outright dommes or they are seriously in the wrong jobs (absolutely no difference for men). Dom/sub dynamic is a personality trait, not a sexual fetish, and it doesn't necessarily manifest in the form of whips&chains in the bedroom. Most women in a positions of authority are not closet dominatrices.
If it has caramel pudding, then I'm sure they got chocolate as well
Step away from the caramel pudding, that's Leliana's thang. ![]()

Yeah, my little dialogue was less about Cass being a kinky dominatrix, and more about her and the Inquisitor, in a loving relationship, doing a bit of roleplaying. Notice, in the scene, the Inquisitor isn't even tied up. And when Cassandra strikes him with the whip, she freaks out. As far as her real characterization, I see her being pretty traditional, much like missionaries, if you will.
The only reason I came up with the dialogue in the first place was because I liked the idea of her and the Inquisitor experimenting a bit, and her seemingly ****up, only to discover something else entirely about her Inquisitor.

Next thing we know is that she's been bangin the entire Seeker Order and decided to move onto the Templars next if it wasn't for that damm war.

Fine. Just using it as example!

Actually, there are people in positions of authority in real life who like to play submissive in the bedroom (or location of choice) and vice versa. It's different for everybody. It's a sliding scale like so many other things.

And I liked it and thought it was funny.
Sword & Shield
Sword & Shield
Sword & Shield
I dunno when or where this Sword & Board crap got started. It is Sword & Shield. Seriously Sword & Board?
I agree. I know it isn't meant to be insulting but still. And I'm a dual wielder but this my second favorite style for warriors and why I plan t have both me and Cassandra as.
Scene: Some dungeon deep in Skyhold.
Inquisitor: I'm telling you, Seeker, I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!
Cassandra: *slap* Don't lie to me! I am the Right hand of the Divine!
Inquisitor: And I'm the Queen of Antiva!
Cassandra: Do not test my patience, Inquisitor! *grabs his shirt and pulls his sagging figure up to meet her gaze*
Inquisitor: *snarkily blows her a kiss* Love you too, oh 'Hero of Orlais'.
Cassandra: *throws him back into his chair and walks over to the other end of the room* One way or another, Inquisitor, *pulls something out of a box* you WILL tell me what I want to know.
Inquisitor: I can't tell you what I DON'T KNOW!
Cassandra: *sigh* Those you protect are not worth such loyalty. Do not be a fool. *pulls out a whip and lets it uncoil to the ground*
Inquisitor: *glint of fear in his eye* I'll...I'll DIE before I talk!
Cassandra: I'm giving you my final warning. Talk!
Inquisitor: Never!
Cassandra: *whips Inquisitor right in the eye, he screams in pain* Oh, ****! Sorry! I'm sorry, love! *rushes to check on him* I was just trying to make the sound! I didn't know it would go that far! Did I hurt you?!
Inquisistor: Yes, you bloody well- *stops, a look of pleasure running across his face* N-No. You cannot hurt a man such as I, Seeker. You can torture me like this all night, and I'll never talk!
Cassandra: *Relieved look, closely followed by a mischievous glint* I usually let my prisoners decide their next round of punishment. So where shall I hurt you next, Inquisitor? Your hands? Your chest? Your back?
Inquisitor: *resolute gaze* You may destroy my use in any of those, and my lips shall never speak what you want to hear. *glances at his feet, then back at Cassandra several times*
Cassandra: *slow look of realization* Ah, but what of your feet?
Inquisitor: *look of absolute terror* No! No! Mercy, oh great servant of the Maker, Right Hand of the Divine! ANYTHING but my feet!
Cassandra: Very well, your feet it is!
Inquisitor: NO! NO! NO! *eyes: YES! YES! YES!*
+1, ran out of likes ![]()

What we do know is that she's highly dedicated to a position with a ton of responsibilities, it would be a miracle for her to find any time to even do night time fun considering the long lonely nights doing her duty.
Frankly I find it hard to believe that Cassandra's job is as time consuming as several fans seem to think it is. She's a secret police/special forces type person who gets dispatched on a case by case basis.
While I'm sure this keeps her busy enough, and I'm sure that when she's on the job she's very dedicated to it, I have a hard time believing that even Thedas has enough problems to keep her so busy as to deny her any kind of personal life, especially given that we know the deployment of the Seekers is suppose to be a rare event reserved for extreme cases.

Cassandra does like the type who would train a lot or train other Seekers
Cassandra is one of two of the LIs who I think may be the virgin one.
