I'd find it humorous if he fell for a fiery Templar and the dissolution of the Circle and Order finally allowed them to make their relationship public. Or this:
Inquisitor: How exactly do you know Cassandra?
Regalyan: How does anyone know Cassandra?
Inquisitor: Oh, so she threatened to kill you too?
Regalyan: She most certainly did, held a sword to my throat.
Inquisitor: Really? She did the same thing to me.
Varric: My my Seeker, you certainly know how to make a first impression.
Cassandra: Maker, I hate you dwarf.
Love at first slice. ![]()
Is it bad that when I saw the title my first mental image was that Iron Bull kept accidentally breaking bathrooms so Cassandra makes him do his business outside?

No. I honestly think they name him Iron Bull so Cass could get a Bull**** joke.
Since I can't make the image link work (lol@anything actually using Java these days...), here's Cass in her happy place: http://fav.me/d4du2jz
Ommmmmm
I love that pic.
David Gaider @davidgaider
So someone told me that *I* said the two remaining LI's are the race-gated ones. An odd thing for me to say, seeing as it's untrue.
That could mean Sera, Cassandra, or Cullen are race-gated.
You forgot Dorian
He also said in another tweet to not put word in his mouth...
I never considered it a safe assumption personally.
I was talking about this tweet that follow the one you posted:
User
so this means that the 2 race gated romances are romance options we already know about? Cool.
No, it does not mean that either. Seriously, stop putting words in my mouth.
Well, unless they dropped the concept than SOMEONE has to be race-gated.
Though Cassandra or Cullen being gated? Well, Cullen can't be because he falls for Mage Origin Female whether she's Human or Elf, I believe.
While Cassandra... She could be race gated but that would be odd as she's the #1 most promoted female for this, alongside Leliana, and and she's the only 100% straight female character that can be romanced as far as we know as well as being mandatory to the plot and a very important character.
I don't see Bioware not making her a choice for all Male Characters as they know that a good portion of the audience will be straight male and that there are still many places in the world that aren't all that accepting to other views in regards to sexuality.
Well, IF Cassandra is race-gated in any way, with what races is she most likely to be unromanceable(remembering that they have said it is for story reasons)?
Honestly, the Qunari is the only one I can think of. And that's only because the Chantry has a serious problem with the Qun. But the Qunquisitor is a Vashoth, born outside of it. I think Cassandra is more likely to have a problem with a character's religious stance, rather than their actual race. If they respect the Chant, and her belief in it, I don't think race will be a deal-breaker.
If I can't romance Cass with my dwarf Inquisitor, I'll be a very sad panda. ![]()
It could be that Varric has forever ruined dwarves for her.
I'm 99% certain that Cullen is race-gated (yet I still have 50% chance of being wrong has well).
For Cassandra, it really depends about things we don't know about her: how does she care about the racial segregation in Thedas. There might be other funky things at work too. "Story reasons" can go from "X" doesn't like "Y" to plot point(s) that make something impossible.

She haven't been promoted in a long time. She's the character with the oldest screenshots now (over one year old at this point). Sometimes I have the feeling that they want us to forget that she is in the game.
She's still the most promoted Companion, other than Varric, and will be a key part to the story. This isn't like Isabela whom you could have pretty much ignored almost entirely if you wanted.
They wont make us forget as she has been in practically all the gameplay vids and will be in the trailers and such for the game's promotion.
Cullen doesn't really make sense as Race-Gated as he has been shown to be attracted to Human and Elven Females. He hasn't really been shown to discriminate against Dwarves or the Qunari in DAII when we last saw him either.
I imagine she and Cullen and are going to be a bit lost on what to believe because of what they experienced in the past on both Mages and Templars. It wouldn't surprise me if they both distrust both sides in the war because of the extremes on both sides but feel both have good points.
I figure at the most, both could only be favorable towards mages but with some caution and protection involved.
that's fair enough, I figure that particular romance could be interesting because of the mage templar conflict, I just have to hope she isn't race-gated either ![]()
Why do you think it's Cullen?
I remember he says some nasty things about dwarves.
It's based on his past comments in DAO and DA2 on Dwarves and Qunari. He is the only character we know to have prejudice against other races at some point, so he makes a good choice using Occam's Razor.
@Elit Midget
Since they revealed the rest of the characters, Cassandra totally disappeared and have been relegated to the "lets not talk about them characters" list: Josephine, Cullen, Solas, Blackwall and Cole...

For now, the game is still far off. Cassandra will be back and front and center as the game reaches launch.
Because he's shown to be open to other races already. Elves, and hasn't been shown to discriminate against Elves, Dwarves, or Qunari in DAII. Heck, he's more likely to discriminate against a Mage than someone being a certain race after all the BS he saw from Origins all the way to DA:I.

That kind of sucks since they are already gender gated.

Aren't Cassandra and Cullen both Straight?
(Strongly suspected that for months)
