You mean Vashoth. Another word for oversized human with horns and pointy.
I think you mean Kossith. Much horn. So much Greyness.

Yeah, the only way to do a hetero romance with Cass would only be with an elf or qunari or dwarf. I have no desire to use a human male for some reason.
Romance her with a transwoman.
I don't think demographics will have anything to do with who or what Cassandra likes.
I never said that. I was saying who cares if she is available to humans or not.
Booo
Burn the heretic heathens!
Cassandra better be into humans!
I refuse to have a height difference as an elf!
I LOOK UP TO NO MAN!

Aside from all the qunari?

That's the race. Qunari is just their religion or however they call it.
Once again, Oversized human with horns and pointy ears.
i couldn't care more if Cass wasn't romanceable by a Qunari. By a Dwarf though...Come on, Biow', this height differences should be canon.
Speaking of which, I might post some stupid, fluffy fanfic here about Cass, love and dragon hunting, if you people don't mind.

See, this is why I'm not a huge fan of race gating to begin with... I mean, if LIs get race gated, it will almost certainly favor humans. Since a lot of fans of the game really get into the romances, they'll be forced to play as humans in order to see most of the romances... so what was the point of adding other races? IMO race gating is fine, but just... not "human only" race gating... it defeats the purpose of multiple races (who don't handle differently in combat anyway from what I've heard).

They die, so they don't count.

Yeah, hopefully there's at least one or 2 LI's who are race gated to humans. Otherwise it's like you said, favoring humans.

Qunari means People of the Qun, but the majority of Thedas think it's a race.
I thought about doing that but realize it would be unethical.
If a transwoman PC's status would be solely headcanon, so would any conversations about it. Nothing would prevent you from seeing Cassandra as okay with it.
Well, to start, I'm curious under what circumstances she's going to cede authority to the Inquisitor. The game does not start with the player character in charge after all.
Well, this is the concept art that kind of deals with that.

Now, it me, it looks like Leliana and Cassandra work together to make sure the Inquisition knows that the Inquisitor is in charge. And it really comes down to that fact that he/she can close the rifts, and they can't. So they give the Inquisitor the reins because they can't control him/her, so they mind as well act as guides.

Sure seems that way... the PC is probably just somebody they use to rally the people. Whether or not you ultimately earn their respect and loyalty is a matter of how you play the game. They did say that every party member can leave except one, so Cassandra probably sticks around and replaces you once the crisis passes if you turn out to be a flop.
I'm hoping there's more to the player character becoming the leader of the Inquisition than their left hand.

I think there will be a mission that happens that proves you have what it takes to lead.

Cassandra probably got this whole tutorial course ready to prove yourself.

There needs be an 80s esc montage in there somewhere as well.

I see what you did there.
And yes.

I suspect is she lived IRL, she's be a personal trainer.
"Cassandra - straight" tells me she's not okay with this.
I might as well just play with a dude and pretend he's a she and Cassandra is a lesbian. At that point, it's headcanon on par with saying an elven mage PC in DA:O is dalish. Not so much filling in gaps but deliberately ignoring what we know.
There's nothing wrong with that, but 'the PC is a transwoman' seems to be doing the latter while pretending it's the former.
Sexual orientation isn't necessarily so simple. It's not impossible that she'd be able to adapt better to this due to the PC looking male.
Maybe we'd have to see the game to know the truth, but I wouldn't write it off out of hand.
