Edit: I blew up the screenshot, and yes, she's talking to Cassandra.
I did zoom first to be sure. Actually, I tried to read what Cassandra was saying but it's too small. Probably better that way.

Yes, but we didn't know that ended with her imprisoning us.
Imprisonment strikes me as a logical follow up to the Seeker thinking you're responsible. And besides, prison is second only to taverns as the starting locations for RPG adventures.

I expect my Inquisitor will be more sympathetic to the "You're dangerous and need to be locked up!" viewpoint than the "You're sent by the Maker!" one

THAT is the most heartbreaking scene in any of the three games. Did it once and immediately went "NOPE NOPE NOPE" and reloaded my previous save.

It seems like there should be some range in how the protagonist responds to Cassandra; it's nice to see that the main character can be reluctant to trust her or work with her, given that - to him or her - she's a complete stranger.

I have already seen puppy-eyed Cassandra in DotS. I have also seen her destroy furniture out of the anger. Either way, breaking up with her is not gonna happen.

It's understandable,that the inquisitor is reluctant to work with Cassandra at first.Although,I must admit that it will be exteremly difficult for me not to meta-game in that particular scene...I mean it's Cass!

The Player Character is the only survivor of an explosion that kills thousands. I think it's very much in character for Cass to jump to conclusions.

The Inquisitor is probably going to close a fade tear , maybe the one where the blast happened.
I actually am getting a Miranda vibe from all this.
