When I look at her, I think that Hawk's Body in DA2 was totally fine.

^Yeah, off-season maybe.

In this Pic she is clearly flexing her muscles.

Go to Youtube, search for Gina Carano and then look at one of her matches. You can barely see any muscles on her Arms.

That's because the size of your Muscles don't necessary tell how strong you are. Especially on women who are not drinking any protein shakes.

Don't know what you are talking about, her shoulders and arms are bigger than Hawkes, even in your pic. Look at her bulging triceps!

I don't know anything about that world she belongs to but goddamn she must have been one hell of a fighter, her face doesn't show any signs of punishment. Nobody got close enough to land a jab I suppose!

I'm saying that a women don't need defined muscles to be athletic, since you said a balanced human upper body looks like the ones in your first Pics.

The women in my pics are hobby athletes. Would you please go and tell them that they actually don't need to look like they do to be athletic?

She is not invincible though. Awww...  :(

I admit i looked better back in the service, but i still bet my LDS and MAC are still at least tier 3, I was one of the best in the Battalion for a reason.

<_<'' Namely, because i excel at grappling and holds, and can register upwards of 380 (which is a bit below your average professional boxer)PSI with a strike, but anywho.

Wut?

Just because I'm saying that a athletic women don't necessary got defined muscles doesn't mean that no one has to look like the ones in your Pics.

May I remember you that you were the one who generalized?

I ask you, if you don't need muscle to be athletic, why are most athletes comparatively muscular? For lulz?

Are you even reading my posts?

You don't need necesarry defined muscles. Look at all the other female MMA Fighters/Boxers/insert fighting sport here, look at Top-League Football/Handball/Tennis etc. players. There are very few who look like the ones in your Pictures.

Know your Biology.

Muscle Mass / Muscle Efficiency.

The Girls in your Pics are definitely Training their Muscle Mass.

First tell me what ''defined muscle'' even means, because such thing does not exist. You get muscle definition through decreasing your body fat and water, you cannot define or shape your muscles. And in my years of lifting I've seen a very strong correlation between muscle mass and strength, the bigger my muscles got the more weight I could lift. And I've always been stronger than those who had a similar exercise regime but less muscle mass.

Look at people who do circuit training, it contains an enormous variety of mixed exercises, and most experienced athletes that do it are very muscular.

Oh, and by the way...

Most serious athletes in sports that don't focus mainly on endurance pack an astonishing amount of muscle.

But lets get back to topic.

I'd like to see some muscle on Cassandra, if only because every random male NPC in the other games are totally burly, while the ladies are petite and perfectly proportioned for attractiveness, not combat.

...not related to muscles or anything, but I only just realized that longswords are actually sheathed where they should be sheathed this time around.

This pleases me greatly.

Its actually a greatsword, look at the size and length of the hilt... its meant for dual-hand use.....but with a shield?

Belt sheathing is definitely cool though.

I would say she's using a two-handed grip with a shield on the back a la Dark Souls or something, but I imagine we can't actually do that. :S

Do we know if they are? I'm not sure I've seen anything with a dual dagger rogue yet.

Though I remember them saying some daggers can be as long as swords

But I'd like if smaller daggers could be like that

This might sound like a stupid question, But why is Cass using a shield?

I feel rather silly having made the assumption due to the 'movie', 'DA:Heros' and some concept art, that she was a two-handed Sword type of warrior. when in DA2 she didn't have any weapons on her, (bar book stabby knife).

No reason beyond that that's what the Devs decided. Iron Bull is definitely the two handed warrior, and we'll have Cass and Blackwall using sword and shield (I'm not sure about Blackwall, would need to check).
