Not that much time passed between the interrogation scenes of DA2 and when DAI start...
How much time in between is it? A year, two more?

The time it takes from Cassandra, Leliana, and Varric to travel from Kirkwall to Haven. I read it, don't remember where.

That's all. I thought it would be a few years in between, huh. I know the timeline from DAO to DAI is 10 years, wasn't sure of the timeline here though.
I think her scars are just there do to the fact that they can put them their now. Better character animations and all. I mean if you want to really get into it it looks like she has aged 10 years since DA2. But that again is just do to how limited the DA2 character animations were.
Shaving accident.Would be cool if she said how she acquired these scars in game, looking at her back in DA2 she was quite fresh-faced compared to now, time has passed indeed.
Shaving accident.
Lol. She should wax then. ![]()
Lol. She should wax then.
Inquisitor: Cassandra awwwww... are you blushing?
Cassandra: No I..I.... *grumbles*
Lol. She should wax then.
You don't wax your chin.
Anyone who knows John Green knows that's a bad idea.
I'd put money on her gaining the Scar in the opening act of the game. Looks pretty fresh come the 'you're the only threat I see' line.
That she is.

Wouldn't be surprised if the scars are there simply for aesthetic purposes.

You what mate?
Scars are the latest thing in Orlesian fashion. All the noble ladies and gentlemen queue up to get them done by expert scar artistes
You what mate?
Easy way to categorize someone as a 'badass' from a visual standpoint. And judging from comments, I would say it does just that.

Cassandra would never be so shallow as to get a scar painted on her face like that. She earns them the REAL way.

Ah, but she's been hanging out with Leliana...
but I believe Chewin is talking from an out of universe perspective rather than an in universe one - she got her scar because the artists wanted her to look badass.

But Leliana has no scars...

Man you guys are confusing the f*** out of me.
But Leliana has no scars...
They wouldn't go with her shoes

I point you back to my post earlier on this page. I think it was conveying mostly the same point as Chewin was...
They wouldn't go with her shoes
I don't think anyone's looking at her shoes...

I was talking from a design perspective by the animator, not in-universe.
They wouldn't go with her shoes
Damn right.
Yeah I suppose she could have acquired them from the blast at the beginning of the game. Anyway I like em on her. ![]()
Well, I'd consider stupid someone who said he's in love because he loves a woman's breasts regardless if they are big or small.
You took that statement too literal.

Well considering they had to go through the rest of the Free Marches, Nevarra and Orlais and pass the Frostbacks, I'd say at least 3-6 months.

Or they took a boat to Ferelden and traveled to Haven overland from there.
Or maybe they encountered Flemeth, who allowed them to travel on her back.
Which would be really ironic.
