Or maybe they encountered Flemeth, who allowed them to travel on her back.
Which would be really ironic.
Varric: *snickering*
Cass: "Shut up Varric!"
Varric: "I guess this time it is that fanciful..."

Followed by a threatening stare. Wonder how that looks like...
You just made my day! ![]()
Or they took a boat to Ferelden and traveled to Haven overland from there.
I thought about that, if they did that then maybe 1-2 months.

It took the Hawkes 5 weeks to go from Lothering to Kirwall by taking boat at Gwaren: the Ferelden Town farthest away from Kirwall...

I reckon it took them 1 a 2 weeks.
On the other hand, Cassandra and the gang have a lot more people to move across the sea, and won't continue until all are across. So I can see it being a couple months.

I thought she only had a handful of soldiers with her?
I thought she only had a handful of soldiers with her?
She has the Inquisition with her.
She has the Inquisition with her.
Which starts with only her, leliana, varric and a handful of soldiers.
Its not like they got everyone up and running when they find the inquisitor. Since that's the whole point of the game.
Build your own Inquisition.

I want the game to come out already!
WHY IS NOVEMBER TAKING SO LONG TO GET HERE?!

I bet they have more than a handful. A few dozen at least. Plus supplies and equipment.
That's it, I'm cryogenically freezing myself. I can't take this wait any longer.
Its good that DAI is still a few months away, I need that time to get myself in perfect shape, the inquisition won't accept a leader with any weaknesses. ![]()

I don't want to be hard! Hard will eventually turn to brittle, like a glacier, grim, imposing and seemingly unstoppable, shattered into pieces by the first strike. One squall and the hardest trees will be the first to fall. The real power lies in flexibility, hardship may bend me quickly but I'll never break nor collapse; I will always endure and recover.
I think her scars are just there do to the fact that they can put them their now. Better character animations and all. I mean if you want to really get into it it looks like she has aged 10 years since DA2. But that again is just do to how limited the DA2 character animations were.

Good Idea. Worked out for this guy.
Deadly.
Spoiler
Super deadly.

LOL, *the threatening intensifies*
But Leliana has no scars...
Well, that we can see, anyway.

Then you could pretty much be assured that Cassandra, Leliana and every soldier with them will disappear at the end of the game. :S
