He doesn't,he teases her about having a case of Hero worship.
That's kind of funnier. She seems as heroic as Hawke in DotS. Perhaps moreso. Varric has no idea who he's dealing with. ![]()

I'm more excited about Cassandra being a LI than I am about anything else in this game, even multiple races. ![]()
What was it again?
I don't remember Varric making the joke about having a crush with Femhawke, but I could totally be wrong. Haven't played in awhile.
Cass: The Champion killed the Arishok in single combat? It just sounds so...romantic.
Varric: If I didn't know better, I'd say you developed a case of hero worship.
Cass: Why? Because I have respect for a woman who built herself from nothing?
Varric: Mm-hmm.
I wonder, maybe Cassandra identifies herself with Hawke? After all, Cassandra lost her home and her sibling when the blood mages attacked, just like Hawke lost his/her home and at least one sibling when the darkspawn invaded Ferelden. And she became Hero of Orlais by performing the same badassery as Hawke when he/she became Champion of Kirkwall.
But she says "romantic" a bit different with FemHawke.
No, it was the same way. The only difference is Varric's line and the last line.

Wow, I actually didn't thought of that.

On a sidenote, I envy Cassandra's "hero" status more than my own characters. She seems free to have a life afterwards, and isn't missing/tainted/needs an old god baby to survive/or whatever the hell happened to Warden and Hawke. Lots of penalizing of their lives.

Here is hoping that the Inquisitor can have a happily ever after with her after the whole story is done! ![]()

Mm, given what happened to the Warden and Hawke, I fear the 'mysterious disappearance' treatment may affect the Inquisitor and whoever is by his or her side (like Cassandra
). That or the Inquisitor will have to make another ultimate sacrifice.
One of the few options I can see right now for a happy ending is if the Inquisition stays after the Veil Tear crisis. Then the Inquisitor could become an unseen Nick Fury of the supernatural. Any time you hear in following games someone talking about the Inquisition, you can feel sure that your character is still at the helm. But this is just wishful thinking. The same argument could be applied to the Warden-Commander, but they disappeared too.

We all know the Inquisitor is going to disappear lol

They said there is a post-game, so maybe not.

The Cassandra romance intrigues me. I'm not certain I'll pursue it, depending on what the other options are, but I'll be interested to see about how Cassandra interacts with my mage Inquisitor on a personal level.

If you romance Cassandra the epilogue starts with Varric saying "After the veil tear was closed the Inquisitor seemingly vanished..." only to be interrupted by Cassandra yelling "Bullshit! That's not what really happened" and a scene of her and the Inquisitor hanging about in a tavern perfectly happy.
For the record, I am very, very pleased that she has been confirmed as an LI.
Since Cassandra is a LI (Officially).
I remember hearing their going with DA2 road with romances in DA:I. Is this still the case or has things changed?
Cassandra was the romance I was really hoping for, so I'm glad that's going to make it in.

All evidence points to them going that route again, yes. Which is good in my opinion.

It apparently hasn't been confirmed though its likely.

Ok, Thanks. good to know.

No problem. ![]()
However, it should be said that I could be wrong, but just that everything we've heard and read so far really implies they'll go the DA2 route rather than the DAO route.

Then you're more optimistic than me. I'd give my firstborn to have them go the DA2 route again (or, if they want something that actually exists, I could probably bear to part with one of my legs or something), but from everything that's been said, I actually get the feeling we'll get 6 LIs, with two of every sexual orientation. Which may be better than DA:O, but still bad news as far as I'm concerned. I just know I'll end up being disappointed. (Pleasedon'tbestraightCasspleasedon'tbestraight...)

Gaider in one of his blogs said something along the lines of while he personally prefers having set sexuality for companions, with limited resources it is easier to go the DA2 way.
If someone knows the one I'm talking about, I'd love if it was linked. ![]()

Yeah, I read the blog post you're talking about, but they did get a year more and even enough resources to give us 4 player races.
I can't imagine they don't have the resources to make 6 LIs. (The only thing I'm hanging onto here is that one article that said there won't be any more or any less romance content than in the previous games. Still, they might have meant the romance content per character. Plus, things change.)
The fact that he personally prefers set sexualities is actually what makes me think that we won't see the DA2 route again. Even if we all agreed that 'playersexuality' (god, someone find a new word) was the way to go, Bioware still has the last word.
*sigh* I just want the uncertainty to end so I can either go frolic in the streets or sit in my crying corner for the next 6 months. This worrying is killing me. (And it's hell on my nails.)

Herosexual, maybe? That way it starts with an H like heterosexual and homosexual. ![]()
