Agreed. Never liked Hawke, both as a character and protagonist. I am glad for others who liked him / her and I'll give it to BW for bringing them back since I never expected them to do so.
So yeah, hope is role is minimal.

I am not expecting a fangirl moment from Cass. I expect her to play it cool. It wouldn't surprise if something were to happen off screen. I could see Varric bringing up Cass and Hawke meeting each other while traveling around.

I really hope this is a thing in Inquisition. Cassandra really wanted to meet Hawke and she seemed to see FemHawke as an Idol with how much of a fangurl she is to FemHawke's accomplishments. While ManHawke it's more of a crush.
