I don't really understand where people get this "Cassandra is a hawke fangirl" vibe.
She just respects Hawke alot. Besides, has anyone forgotten about her interview? She holds her passions secret.
So even if she was a big Hawke fan, she wouldn't shout it of the roofs.
Hey, some people have this "Cassandra reads dirty books" thing and there is no inlore evidence for that. So I'm not surprised some have latched onto this as much as they have.
I'm not really sure if we can go that deep regarding Hawke's customization.
And I don't need Cassandra to hate them, I just think it would be silly if she would start squeeing like a fan girl when she meets Hawke. It would feel very OOC for her.

People tend to jump to all sorts of conclusions. Were she to announce she likes the color red, there would be people going "SHE IS ADDICTED TO RED LYRIUM! MEREDITH INCARNATE!" or some other dumb sh*t.
People like to speculate and make their own ideas about a character until the game comes out and everything is crushed.

Gamescom's demo featured a mission where Nevarra's king was being advised by a Venatori but all we could do was sendo one of the advisors to deal with it. Disappointing. That could have been a DLC of its own.
I will be disappointed if failure of the quest doesn't end with a weakened state of influence in the North, just like the missions states.
I could see there being a bit of Varric teasing about it, but I doubt Cassandra would actually act fan-girly.

The reality is probably that some are joking, some are absolutely serious and the line between the two is blurred over the Internet.

The same could be said for all the missions that involve the advisors. I think they are doing something similar to the Assassin's Creed series where you manage underlings, upgrade them and send them on missions. It would just be too much content to program and put in the game if the player handled it themselves.

I don't know. I think that the woman who has studied the politics of Thedas in-depth would know more about how to deal with the Nevarran king than the one who has spent almost all of her life serving the Chantry in Orlais and has probably never even met the man.
Just because she was born there doesn't mean Cassandra is the expert on all things Nevarran.
How related Cassandra is to Markus Pentaghast will likely be one of the things we learn about her during DAI.
