I kinda like how it fits neatly with her nationality. Apart from dragonhunting and dynastic squabbles, Nevarra seems most associated with death from what has been mentioned of it thus far, what with its death rites, the Mortalitasi and the way the heraldry of Nevarra is a crowned skull.

I agree, it all ties in nicely. Which was why, when Bioware revealed the tarot cards, I was hoping hers would be death.

Rofl...I think Cassandra can do more than just yell at the Inquisitor for the demon thing.

Really, I feel bad for the demon getting locked in a room with an angry Cassandra.

Those aren't screams of terror from the demon, but anger at the Inquisitor.

I'm actually looking forward to see Cassandras more gentle side. We do see her loosing up a little with Varric at some point but her version of loose would be super tense to everybody else. :P

So do you guys think Cassandra and Sera will be the new Avaline/Isabla Miranda/Jack?  In this I mean on the surface they seem to hate each other but really over time become good friends?

I don't expect it something like that. DAI has a lot more companion antagonism than the previous games did. Beside, Cassandra isn't the only person that has problems with Sera. Someone else could be the Miranda to her Jack.

It's based on a scene from Malcolm in the Middle where Hal and Dewey dispose of a gross bug by accidentally dumping it on Lois.

Yeah, if I recall, wasn't it Dewey that volunteered to take the fall for Hal?

I think it'll depend on how Sera and Cassandra grows as characters.  For Sera, she'll probably need to learn to see the big picture I think (at least so far as saving the most lives at least).  For Cassandra, it'll probably be loosening up a bit and opening up to everyone some.

Personally, I hardly count Miranda and Jack as 'good friends'. They share a common experience of being on Shepard's crew, and no longer hate eachother's guts by the end of the Citadel DLC. Maybe they'll have a drink together in shared company. But I doubt they will keep in touch, or would have anything to do with one another outside of their association with Shepard and his crew.

As to Cassandra and Sera, I doubt that there's going to be that much animosity to begin with. They'll have tension due to differing backgrounds, but I think Cassandra is too mission-focused to have any major disagreements with any other companions. Nobody will LIKE her, she's too much of a hard*ss for her to get lovey-dovey with any of the companions. But they'll all learn to respect her, since she's willing to put disagreements aside for the greater good.

The way I see Cassandra's personality, she is willing to put aside any personal, professional or political disagreements if the individual in question is willing to work with the Inquisition to close the Breach and bring an end to the chaos. Iron Bull's Qunari past? Who cares, he strong and kills demons. Varric's heavy sarcasm and refusal to sacrifice for the greater good? If he fights for the Inquisition, then he is not an enemy.

I don't think Sera's rebelliousness and dislike of nobility will upset Cassandra particularly, as long as Sera keeps sinking her arrows into the eyesockets of every Shade and Arcane horror they come across.

This, above anything else, is why I think I will end up liking Cassandra the most. She has beliefs and politics. But she knows that there are times when those things must be put aside if the world is to be saved. As Inquisitor, you can count on her to be the pragmatic warrior by your side the whole way. The devs have stated that you can kick any of your companions out of the Inquisition, with one exception. They never named that exception, but I don't see it being anyone but Cassandra.

Yeah, I figured any of the party members that could not be kicked out of the Inquisition would be Cassandra.  She was pretty much one of the architects of the organization before it is fully formed.

@CastonFolarus, idk i can see Jack and Miranda being good friends just like Aveline and Izzy. And i could see Cass and Sera being good friends too, sometimes complete opposites attract.

In almost all of Bioware games, the characters we meet tend to change after much time with the protagonist and the other characters, knowing each other well and doing so many things.

They should have put the Galyan one too, for completeness.

Although, fat elves got the worst of it. Throw knife on the wall, pick it up, put under throat than move it to right between the skull and his ear and star going down...if he doesn't start talking. Varric was lucky.

LOL, the Mulan one at the end is just perfect. I hope you realize that now I have to create an Inquisitor based on her. Hopefully the CC allows for creating a good asian-looking character. I know it does much better with darker skins tones than in previous games, so my hopes are high.

Just got back from a frivolous two day ban.  What did I miss?  Any important announcements?  Anything juicy?   What's this about Cassandra and tarot cards?  I wish I could draw, I'd draw fan art all day long.
