What's this about Cassandra and tarot cards? I wish I could draw, I'd draw fan art all day long.
DAI party selection is card based, some are clearly Tarot card themed and Cassandra is clearly the Death card.

Fabulous. Looks like James Leung was telling the truth. Cassandra dies at the end of Inquisition. Calling it now. BioWare just pulled a Persona 3.
Actually, the Death card isn't really about death itself, but about more like:
The death card is a metaphor on "old leaves has to wither and fall for new leaves to grow".
Cassandra is the card though, it's not necessarily about what is going to happen to her.
Would Cassandra be in on playing Diamondback with the others if she had the time or would she continuously train.

I think the death card and what it represents is going to be a reflection on what she goes through. It will not be a physical death(Unless the player totally sucks at keeping their warriors alive). But it will be a more a spiritual one. We know she will have a conflict with her faith. This is a very renewing, but harrowing, experience.
Speaking from the point-of-view of a devoutly religious person, when your faith lies unchallenged and unchanged for a long time, it gets weak. You experience doubts and hesitancy where you didn't before. It forces you to evaluate where you are, where you're going. Even WHO you are, if your faith is central to your life. If you keep to your faith and beliefs, you will emerge from these kinds of trials stronger and more prepared for the future. And if you abandon your faith, you will be left wondering just how strong it was in the first place. And you can also find something different, with a stronger foundation than the faith you had before.
Cassandra served the Chantry for twenty years, believing in its teachings and principles. And now, that all has come crashing down. Given what she will see as Inquisition goes on, her faith will take a bit of a beating. This is the death of her old faith. But also the beginning of the new one. I think the Inquisitor will have the chance to witness this change in Cassandra, and possibly experience it with her. I know if my first Inquisitor(a human) sees Andraste in the Fade like in the latest trailer, he's going to be thinking long and hard about stuff that rarely crossed his mind before. I do wonder if my non-human Inquisitors see the same thing. What my Dalish ones will think of that vision, I really don't know.
Cassandra is always changing and re-evaluating herself. DotS and DA2 were all about that and so will DAI. I don't see it has something specific to her DAI story arc. It's something specific to her overall character.

Cassandra strikes me as one of the more self-aware companions in Dragon Age.
Has anybody attempted to recreate Cassandra in Skyrim?
Has anybody attempted to recreate Cassandra in Skyrim?
Maker no.
Face needs major work.

Yes. She was second character I ever made. This was before I even knew DA:3 was being made.
She's a werewolf now.

Stop, your reading too much into it.

she wouldnt stab the cards would she?
I apologize if this has already been posted, but considering the discussion:

"Ever since Cassandra started shuffling the cards during game night after the rogues were caught cheating, there have been a noticeable lack of complaints. Unsurprisingly, since anyone who disputed the Seeker’s hand is met with the most intimidating of stares that the grievance is forgotten." - By Aimo

Can't wait for Cassandra to stab me.
So you are going to call her insane at the first opportunity and hope there is a none-standard game over at that moment?
Can't wait for Cassandra to stab me.
Could you stand still while I practice my stabbing lover?

I rather not get stabbed.
Not much chance to romance her afterwards.

Actually, the Death card isn't really about death itself, but about more like:
Ending of a cycle — Loss — Conclusion — Sadness
Transition into a new state — Psychological transformation
Finishing up — Regeneration — Elimination of old patterns
Being caught in the inescapable — Good-byes — Deep change
What are tarot cards really? are they meant to predict the future?
The Death card is often looked upon as the Herald of Change,
Which I think suits Cass perfectly.
