Well since I will be playing as a Dalish elf, this will not be a problem.
 
By the way, as for the "grabbing her men and sweeping them off their feet" part, you can apply that to Dwarven men as well. Though Cassandra being in a relationship with a Dwarf from a Carta family...would certainly be interesting, to say the least.

Most crime organizations prize loyalty among their ranks. Sure, the Cadash family are a bunch of thieves, racketeers, and smugglers but Dusters have to look out for each other.

I was hoping she'd be bi but i somewhat knew she'd end up straight.

And that's where you went wrong.  You hoped that Cassandra would be bisexual.  If you are trying to be cynical about things then you can't let your hopes get up about an outcome you want.

 

But I can give you props for not expecting Cassandra to be bisexual.  It's one thing to raise your hopes for things but it's another when you raise your expectations as you are 'sure' they are going to happen.  Hell, I remember back when Cassandra was announced as straight, some of her fans were raging quite badly on the forums because they expected Cassandra to be bisexual.

Which I just think will be great drama. 

I also have to keep telling myself that Varric isn't my best mate yet. He was my Hawke's best mate, but I won't be Hawke this time. 
So it'll be fun making that friendship again all the while trying to win over Cass with my sarcastic humour. 
It'll either go well, or I'll be stabbed.  

My only question how is who else do I have in my team, as I can see Varric and Cass being in my team at all times.

I'm always a Mage first play through, and Second normally too (just flip the gender)
So I'll have all the major bases covered with my Mage, Rouge, Warrior team. 
I would normally throw in another mage, so they could do the healling, but since healing is/could be different this time around, not sure who to take. 
It's a choice between Iron Bull, Blackwall and Solas for me.

Well now that we know you can respec companions, it's really about who you like best instead of who'll be most efficient in your party as a <insertclasshere>.

I think an interesting point of contention between Cassandra and Vivienne will be the fate of Cole (and perhaps similar spirits/demons).

 

Vivienne apparently wants to banish him while Cassandra apparently has respectful conversations with him.
