I watched it due to the novelty of it being a DA film.

 

Watched, got the story and characters, not going to bother watching it again.

Although I am curious if that animal/beast-controlling-reaver-mage elf girl is ever going to enter DA again.

The ability to control a flight of dragons is quite impressive... I'm assuming she was made Tranquil or just sent far away from any dragon sightings.

Things are not looking good for us Cassandranites.  I have a feeling it's going to be either her or Vivi who will be race-gated.  Let's hope it's the latter and not the former.

Rolling a human in a game where you can choose other races?  What a faux pas!

I don't think Cassandra will be race gated. The way I see it the following are the possibilities at the moment:

 

Blackwall is final LI:

 

1. Blackwall is the final LI and Cassandra is race-gated <- very unlikely. Male Dwarves, Qunari or Elves have only 1 female LI and no female companion LI.
2. Blackwall is the final LI and Sera is race-gated <- very unlikely. Female Dwarves, Qunari or Elves have only 1 female LI and no female companion LI.
3. Blackwall is the final LI and Cullen or Dorian is race-gated <- likely. Every Inquisitor can still easily have at least 2 options. 

 

Vivienne is final LI:

 

1. Vivienne is the final LI and Cassandra is race-gated: <- unlikely. Why would the woman who cares about her political status be willing to romance elves, dwarves or qunari but Cassandra would not?
2. Vivienne is the final LI and Cullen or Dorian is race-gated <- very unlikely. Female Dwarves or Qunari would only have one male LI. 

 

 

So... yeah. Not seeing how it would work if she was.

I sure won't.  If Cass turns out to be a racist, it'll be Josephine from here on in.
