Her wit seems exceedingly dry though...
And between the two of us, we can desiccate entire fields.

Well, there;s no race-gated Cassandra, everybody. Blog post just came up.
Cass for males,
BLACKWALL for females
Dorian for males
Sera for females
Josephine for everybody
Iron Bull for everybody
Solas for female elves
Cullen for female humans and elves
Yay, she isn't race gated. I knew it. Now my eventual male Inquisitor can be whoever I want. :3
...
Guys, guys, I'm happy. Like, seriously happy. Like, happy happy happy.
M!CadashxCass, here I come! For real this time! Bubbles for everyone! ![]()

Now to see who would Cass be better off with my human or qunari Inquisitor? The other of the two will go for Scribbles. It suck I have to abandon my Dwarf playthrough though since Vivi isn't an option.
I'm very pleased to hear she won't be race-gated. I seriously doubted she'd have any issue with my Male Elf, but I was getting a bit concerned.
Can't wait to play Inquisition even more now!
No race gating for Cass...
Disappointment.
Oh well, i guess the dwarves and oxmen are happy.
Thank the Maker and Creators for no race-gating on Cass. Or Dorian for that matter.

Why?
That's true, it "can." However, it "won't" in the case of Cassandra, which makes me happy.
It adds the depth that she finds hybrids between bulls and men to be repulsive...
Me and her could crack jokes about it.

Has she ever displayed that?
As I've only made one nonhuman in all my time of owning DA, I could honestly not careless. Happy for the people who do though.
*coughs* and the Dalish...
Who cares about them and their fake gods, their stupid tattoos and their children murdering and blood magic using ways.
Seriously, i don't want to derail the thread with an anti dalish tangent, but i will admit even though it was released months ago the information you could only roll dalish elf cut deep.
I enjoy city elves nearly as much as i enjoyed the human noble PC back for origins.
The list was Human noble warrior PC, City Elf Rogue PC, Human Mage PC, Dwarven Noble Warrior PC, Castless Dwarf Rogue PC, Human Noble Rogue PC, Casteless Dwarf Warrior PC, Elven Mage PC, and then Dalish elves.
They were my least favorite characters to use.
Has she ever displayed that?
No? But she could have and it would have made her all the better in my eyes ![]()
Good for her to actually stick to humanoids only.
Elves at least look close enough to men.

Easy now... In DA:O, I preferred city elf or Circle elf myself because I'm not really a fan of nature and prefer to play as more worldly characters, but I'm willing to take what I can get. Most of my Wardens were human, but after DA2 making that race mandatory, I'm ready for a change of pace. Although Dalish will make role playing a bit trickier, I have found it to be an interesting puzzle to work on characters with various mindsets that still fit into the background...
But you're right, we shouldn't derail the thread. I only came in here to say that I am glad I don't have to deal with race gating, which I've done.
Looks like Qunari Bob might get his chance after all...

So it seems.
So my qunari mage concept went kersplat. I think I'll switch genders and make a romance for Cass after all.
Hmm, romancing Cassandra with a dwarf could be interesting...
