Hmm, romancing Cassandra with a dwarf could be interesting...
No sweeping off the feet though...

I dunno... Cass looks pretty strong...
Pfftt.
Maybe if they lost all the weapons, armor and two feet of beard ![]()
No sweeping off the feet though...
Well, with a run-and-slide move...
Well, the good news from this is that Cassandra is not racegated. That was my biggest worry for a little while.

Come on now... you're making it too easy on her. Get rid of that much weight and she could probably dunk the average dwarf like a basketball.

Have to admit... a part of me was sweating bullets that Cass would be human-locked. Glad that turned out not be the case.
No.
Yeh party pooper.
So.... With Viv regulated to a non-romance... Josephine is kind of my only option with a straight male Inquis, as... I don't find Cassandra appealing, now.
DON'T GET ME WRONG! I don't mind her character, I appreciate a strong woman, and so on and forth, but... I find her current redesign almost.. manly? Everyone is welcome to what attracts them, and I am so glad a lot of people really seem to like her look now, but I fought DA2 Cass to be strong, alluring, beautiful and capable. Now she seems just too.. 'rugged' and lacking femininity, facially. Sorry to have the rather minority opinion here, but...
Could someone change my mind? I would like to enjoy Cass enough in DA:I to have more options than just Male Human Inqui/Jos, Fem Qunari Inquis/ Sera, and Fem Elf Inquis/Solas. Heck, this might make DA:I my least played Dragon Age, ever.
So, again... anyone able to change my mind?
Yeah, Cassandra when you actually meet her.
So, again... anyone able to change my mind?
I've got nothing... I played DA2 many times and only pursued a romance twice just to see what they were like. The fact that they were unsatisfying didn't kill my enjoyment of the game. Then again, that's not why I was interested in Dragon Age in the first place...

AN UNBELIEVER!
PERSECUTE! KILL THE HERETIC!

Yeah, I can see Cass being the one to sweep men off their feet........and they'll say they like it if they know whats good for them.
Having Cass go from accusing you of causing the explosion at the start of game to melting in your arms should be very amusing.
Not sure why people thought Cass would be race gated or Lesbian. lol
Anyway, I'm on a streak. In Origins I wanted Isabela to become a full fledged companion LI and in DA2 I wanted Cassandra.
I'm winning. ![]()
Seriously, though. If all that bothers you her face, I'm sure there'll be plenty of mods that will change it.

There sure were plenty of mods to change Liliana's face in Origins so I wouldn't be surprised.

Sorry, just, I /wat/ to like Cassandra, but every picture I see of her update, she just looks old, angry, and possibly fighting intestinal distress.

I am feeling like Josephine may be my only option at this point, but thinking Cassandra could definitely grow on me ![]()
I agree with this opinion. I am feeling like Josephine is my only option(right now) pretty much for the same reasons you just listed. I think there may be quite a few guys who feel similarly unfortunately. Hopefully I'm wrong. I trust that Bioware made all these decisions for good story reasons, though.
Well, Cass has been a fighter all her life. Why would she act overtly feminine when shes spent her life fighting? Shes right hand of the divine for a reason, she can kill dragons by herself!
Besides, Aveline was another female fighter who wasn't typically Feminine. But she had her romantic side.....sort of.....lol
I imagine Cass will prove to have a softer side to her, Now if we can only get her into a dress for an Orlesian ball.

Hard to argue with this ![]()
