I think Cassandra looks better in DAI than in DA2.  She has very fine (and sharp) features.  Like a knife.

So.... With Viv regulated to a non-romance... Josephine is kind of my only option with a straight male Inquis, as...  I don't find Cassandra appealing, now.

 

DON'T GET ME WRONG!  I don't mind her character, I appreciate a strong woman, and so on and forth, but... I find her current redesign almost.. manly?  Everyone is welcome to what attracts them, and I am so glad a lot of people really seem to like her look now, but I fought DA2 Cass to be strong, alluring, beautiful and capable.  Now she seems just too.. 'rugged' and lacking femininity, facially.  Sorry to have the rather minority opinion here, but...

 

Could someone change my mind? I would like to enjoy Cass enough in DA:I to have more options than just Male Human Inqui/Jos, Fem Qunari Inquis/ Sera, and Fem Elf Inquis/Solas.  Heck, this might make DA:I my least played Dragon Age, ever.

 

So, again... anyone able to change my mind?

Here's Cass in DA2 and DAI

 

   

 

Same eye shadow, same head shape, same eyes, same eyebrows, same chin, same mouth, same nose. She's the same, just higher res with a scar or two. She always looked like that. I think she's as attractive as ever myself.

If anything, her face in DA2 lacked detailed. Her DA: I face has more detail in the form of sharper features and a scar or two. That said a lot of the characters look terrible in the screenshots and when I've seen them in game they look a lot better. I suspect that they just have some poor shots of these characters. For example, Morrigian looked off, as in something was wrong with her face, in the announcement trailer but in the in game footage, Morrigan's face looks fine.

 

Also, note that Cass looks angry in the picture and its likely her feature well soften when shes not mad.

I.. I don't agree. The eyes are eternally squinted, if not narrower, her skin is certainly more aged (and the options to do so were in DA2, so...), I swear her head shape is a little different (though that is irrelevant), mouth look s longer, thinner...

 

I want to find her attractive.. I just, well, don't. ^.^'  Maybe playing will change my mind, but right now, she just looks, well... meh?

Cassandra is in her mid-30s now so keep that in mind. She is no longer in her 20s.

Well, in that one she's squinting because she's yelling at you, which coincidentally is the only close-up cutscene we've seen of her.

Tywin was a good man, the show really obliterated that though...sort of like it turned Stannis into a raving loon who sacrificed people to fire for failure, rather then treachery.

 

Tywin may have been harsh with his sons but the world isn't going to do them any favors if they have idealistic notions about how it works, Beyond that the dwarf is a hypocrite.

 

He took every thing his father ever gave him, he whined and complained about his house, his name all the while drinking and frittering away the fortune of House Lannister.
