possibly doing what seekers would, fight extremly cunning mages or recruit more templars. Or even help peopleNice. I like it that way. Laidlaw also mentioned in an interview before...either he did or Darrah did...that to gain Cassandra's favor (and most likely romance approval), the Inquisitor should do Seeker quests... Any guess to what Seeker quests might be ? Especially given the annulment of Nevarran Accord, Seekers are sort of all over the place...

That's not what Seekers do. They are the internal affairs of Templars. They police the Templars. So I would guess it will be a lot of rooting out bad Templars and such.

Are you saying Seekers don't fight mages? Have you seen Dawn of the Seeker?

Exactly.
Templars are the army, Seekers are the military police (for a real life approximation)

I would take EVERYTHING in Dawn of the Seeker with a grain of salt. Cassandra also killed like 4 dragons and a bunch of Darkspawn Ogres and Stone Golems singlehandedly. I'm not saying Seekers never fight mages. But that is not their job or function. They literally are the internal affairs of Templars. Their job is to root out corruption and magic influence in the Templars.

And boy did they fail in DA2. I wonder if Cassandra feels responsible for that in some way?

So does the Warden/Hawke. Most of those weren't high dragons either, so it's really not that big a deal.

Well it would be the entire reason she was their interrogating Varric to begin with. To find out what happened and why. It is her job. Maybe she is a day late and a dollar short. But still.

Cullen strikes me as the kind of guy who likes the cute delicate types. Qunari and Dwarves just aren’t the types he’d want between his sheets. I think they’d freak him out.
Cassandra on the other hand, “taming the beast” seems right up her alley.
Someone mentioned in another thread that Cullen needs someone who can roleplay a circle mage in the bedroom
. Hilarious if true.
Or as Oghren puts it: "Ooh Noo, Big Templar Man. What are you going to do with THAT SWORD?!?!"
Not surprised that Cassandra is more open-minded regarding race, so long as the inquisitor in question puts in the effort to woo her (as already said, there is no feasible way that she would initiate/pursue a relationship). Though who knows if she has some other kinky roleplay up her sleeves.

._.
People keep saying this.
Failing to realize its a stupid literary device employed by the storyboard to move it forward along the plot the devs want.
The Seekers weren't there because Anders needed to declare his Jihad, The Seekers weren't there because Orsino would have been beheaded and along with probably the entire circle in Act 2.

Of course there was a plot reason for their absence (though I think in act 3 Meredith might've not be left in power, depending on who was going to control Kirkwall). It doesn't change the fact that the plot reason makes the Seekers look incredibly incompetent. Either this, or the divine didn't let them go, which makes her incompetent.._.

Well, Thankfully for you, she seems to be deadShe is incompetent; but I've been saying that for years.
Anyway, maybe the writers came up with a reason why the Seekers weren't present in Kirkwall, and Cass might talk about it with the PC or in some banters with Varric.

I remember some cut content from DA2 https://www.youtube....XanGYT&index=13
It's possible at one point the Seekers were involved before the Chantry goes BOOM , but it got cut for whatever reasons.
I hope in DAI we'll learn more about the Seekers because so far I'm unimpressed .

Or it could be Lambert who decided the Seekers should not to become involved with Kirkwall.

I'm not saying Seekers never fight mages. But that is not their job or function. They literally are the internal affairs of Templars. Their job is to root out corruption and magic influence in the Templars.
According to the codex, "When a Seeker steps from the shadows, templars run for cover—because why would he come unless the templars somehow failed in their duties? Seekers are extremely effective investigating abuses within the Circle and hunting particularly evasive apostates."
http://dragonage.wik...eekers_of_Truth
Their job and fuction is to act when the Templars have failed in their duties. Be it to deal with corrupt Knight Commanders seeking to overthrow the Divine or dragon worshipping, blood mage cults that the Templars failed to deal with.
Therefore, this would often place them in direct confrontation with mages.
