To me Cassandra didn't show her attraction to Gaylan, that was hardly something. There's no evidence.

Cassandra will be BI regardless of any romance system, mark my words. ;)

Depends on Cullen's character status. If he's a non-Follower, and there are six LI, there's the chance they went into the 2/2/2 approach, and Cassandra might be the straight LI.
I hope for everyone here that she's bi/playersexual (I'm interested in her, but I don't personally care if she's straight, lesbian or bi), but I think it's better to be open to every possible outcomes.

I have to say, as someone who is rather looking forward to Cassandra as a love interest, I'm honestly somewhat disturbed of the possessiveness some people are displaying here.

I, for one, actually like that she's got some romantic experience to her character. Helps flesh her out, makes her more than just this object who's been chastely waiting for the Inquisitor to come and claim her.

My possessiveness is a joke.

That said, I'm the opposite. I would like the Inquisitor to be her first intimate partner for varying reasons, both inuniverse and metauniverse.

Looks like in today's panel they said that

Ness @paperbytheton

Those who have read the books and comics and seen the movie will get a deeper experience in #DAI

I don't think they said that to get more sales of the books, comics and movie, so I find this quite interesting. Unlike the books or the comics, the movie focused almost exclusively on Cassandra.

Fair enough; downside of the internet, jokes don't always translate.

That being said, we'll agree to disagree on that point. I'm not particularly keen on the idea of being a 38 year old virgin's first time.

What, like ever?

The woman is well into her mid-30's by the time of DA:I

I've just been having a joke as well. Although now i'm wondering how many relationships she may have been in as I don't think being a seeker/hand of the devine since young age (so it seems from Dots) allows you much free time.

This is interesting news indeed.

Yea, especially since Bioware in-general has been overusing that

That's fine. Different wants for different people.

Yes. If I had my way, I'd have marriage first as well but know that won't happen.

I'm assuming Bastila was too in KOTOR, if not then ok

But I still consider that overusing it

How? They've had one virgin per game.

Mass Effect 1: Liara

Mass Effect 2: Tali

Mass Effect 3: Liara if not romanced in ME1

Dragon Age Origins: Alistair

Dragon Age 2: Merrill

If anything, they've been overusing people who've been around more than they've been overusing virgins.

Mass Effect 1: Ashley and Kaidan

Mass Effect 2: Jacob, Miranda, Jack, Garrus, Thane, Kelly?

Mass Effect 3: Ashley, Kaidan, Steve, Kelly?, Samantha?

Dragon Age Origins: Morrigan, Zevran, Leliana

Dragon Age 2: Anders, Fenris, Isabela, Sebastian

I doubt that Cass has been with lots of people anyway. Probably only Regalyan (if at all). So in that way you could still sort of view it as a first time, I guess

I wouldn't say it's overused. Tali, Merrill, and Alistair are the only love interests that I'm aware of that were implied/stated to be virgins(granted, I haven't played Jade Empire or KotOR).

I just don't think Inquisition is going to be a game where it's going to be appropriate; most all the companions appear to be in their late twenties at the youngest, most well into their thirties, like Cassandra.

You never know, Hina, maybe she is, being so pro-Chantry and all?

Do Seekers have any vows?

I don't know.

I certainly don't think that Cassandra's as proactive in that department as Isabela, but we're talking about a period of 19 years here. Even if we assume her job keeps her busy, that's a long, long time to go without some companionship.

Liara and (possibly, don't recall) Bastila were virgins.

Fair enough, but I agree at this point in the game it wouldn't really be appropriate

They are probably in the same situations as templars.

So then it could be very plausible

I've already made a dirty joke about that title once.

I'm pretty sure if I do it again there's an angry mob standing at the ready, waiting to light their torches.

I guess, "Templars take vows upon knighthood, but these do not include a vow of chastity"
