I hope her friendship is just as good(if not better) as her romance. I really like Cass as a character, and never saw her as a '******' at all, and she never came across as being into girls either. I thnk Cass has her hair short for practicality because, long hair is serious maintaince.

Apperantly Cullen's VA did a video as well. So if he got one, then why not Cassandra too.

I know it was said once to not focus on the writer too much, but I've always felt like Gaider is good at making his characters' friendship arcs as compelling as the romance ones. Case in point, Morrigan and female Warden.
I have faith in Cassandra's.

Yeah, we want a CASS V.A video!

Yeah, now that you mention it he does do a good job with friendships.(I often forget he wrote morrigan). I wonder what angle he will write it from. I'm not sure I can seed Cassandra meshing well with a 'clever' personality. I think somewhere between diplomatic and aggressive would work well.

I like her right from the start and was very happy when she was confirmed as a companion and LI.
I was actually afraid she would be another Aveline (I'm so sad she wasn't an LI she was the best woman of the group in DA2) that it would be nothing but teasing.
But Cassandra can now potentially be the best male LI of DA:I there is a 50/50 chance.

I was curious if anyone remembered the companion team names/composition that BioWare stated in Twitter. I've decided on my first playthrough that I will be taking along Cassandra and Varric. I can't really decide on the third companion and I am curious if BioWare ever had a group that included these two.
If not, who would you recommend as the third companion? ;p

Well, personally, I'm planning to take Cassandra, Varric, & Solas around for a large amount of time. I'm really not sure what that team would be called ![]()

I'll never understand people that make a set party in these games... I take whoever I feel like having at any givin time. If a mission relates to a character I'll def take em. If I just feel it's time to hang with Blackwall well along he comes. Even when I am romancing Cassandra she will not always be in my party.

One of the things I tend to do is make one character(usually whoever is being romanced) a regular, and make the other two vary depending on my whims and whatever mission I am confronting. So for my first playthrough, I'll probably have Cassandra with my whenever possible, and if I have to confront anything related to the Fade, I'll bring Solas and somebody else I've been getting along with. If I have to do something related to the Wardens, I'll take Blackwall and some other chump. Etc.
I do this because when I roleplay my PCs, they tend to latch on to someone they trust the most. Not necessarily LIKE the most(otherwise Varric would never leave the team in DAII for any of my Hawkes). I see my first Inquisitor trusting Cassandra at his back the most. They won't necessarily get along, but they understand that the goal of closing the Breach is the first, and only concern. Their lives, and the lives of the people they lead, are secondary. He'll trust her to get the job done.
Just a habit I noticed I have.

I will play several playthroughs, so I plan to build each character around a set party. It will also bring something new for each playthrough. =)

I'd put money on Cass being that one companion that we can't kill or get rid of in any way. Simply because in terms of power structure within the inquisition, she's on the level of Cullen and lel-what's her name that I can't spell,( you know they spy one). But if they can die/be killed, then all bets are off.Considering companions apparently can die if we screw up...

I imagine that if she can die, it would be near the end of the game but I'm assuming it would be quite hard to get her killed. Much like it was pretty hard to get Miranda killed in the suicide mission in ME2 unless you actively tried to.
