I'm actually a little sad to hear they changed her (likely due to the complaints) - I love the strength in her face and I'm really hoping they haven't sacrificed that.
I guess they may have changed something relating to the structure of her face (smoothing cheekbones or jaw) if they were wanting to make her look more 'soft/feminine', although considering the potential work they would be, it may indeed be the lips that have been changed.
Or they merely could have upped her cup size.
Bioware doesn't seem the type but *shrugs* who knows.
I think we should wait before we start making assumptions. I made that mistake when I heard the news.

thank god maybe she will look good again and then I may return to my romance plans with her

Hopefully they toned that manjaw down a bit. I'm all for butch womyns, but that jaw was inhuman and different from DA2.
Still, it's possible we haven't seen Cassy in a decent light(literally) yet, so I shall reserve judgement
I agree that jaw just ruins her appearance here's hoping they listened to some complaints

She doesn't need to be a stereotype, though honestly I don't see anything wrong with the look she already has.
Sure, her jawline puts knives to shame in terms of sharpness, but is that really a flaw? And sure, her jaw looks odd when she angles her head upward like that, but we probably won't be seeing it from that angle all the time.
Just give us a better picture of her from a good angle, and most of the complaints would probably go away.

That is what I am worried about. She looks great as is. I don't want them to "soften" her so that all these crying man child people saying she is ugly will suddenly like her.

This has pretty much been my only complaint as far as appearance goes probably because it reminds me when I made a character thinking they looked awesome, but then I'd see them from a lower-right position or so, and the jaw/chin looked unnatural.
