Or maybe they didn't do anything at all about her appearance and it's something she said or did that made her seem ''hotter'' to Alan.
Let's just roll up that ''jumping-to-conclusions'' mat for the time being.

But jumping to conclusions is FUN!
Angry Evil Dinosaur woman...
*Immediately thinks of one character in particular*
I'll answer you with this:

I don't know, changing appearances have come at the last second with Bioware before.
I remember even game rendered images being outdated and replaced by the time the final product rolled out.
Who recalls the first gen renderings and concept art for Darth Malak or Canderous Ordo?
They're not going to change how she looks so radically at this stage. Seriously, all this "ugh, man's jawline!" crap got old about this time last year. People need to go out and look at real faces more.
I'll answer you with this:
Spoiler
I repeat: R.I.G.G.E.D
._.
Not for Zorrin, The Captain.
Though you know what pisses me off?
If the Author himself thinks the fight was rushed and wants to go back and change it umm, why doesn't he?
He wouldn't be the first to retcon a series after completion and release new material replacing the old.
Bloody lazy Bastard.

They have seriously done it before: Learn your Bioware history.
And when was the last time it happened?
And when was the last time it happened?
Eh...
DAO i believe.
Also, I guess she has a few other facial oddities to her that make her seem slightly reptilian.
Not dismissing what you are claiming, but could you be more specific.Eh...

Depends on what you mean by radically? Cassandra had white hair in preview to DAII very close behind release date.
Edit: And there was actually different a bit different dialogue in the demo and final release.

I hope it's true. Considering she is 50% of the possible romance options for straight males, I don't think she has to look too unattractive. A less masculine look would be something I appreciate. (nobody needs to quote me, that he/she thinks she is beautiful. Tastes are different and i find her ugly)
..... Are you for real?
Yes.
She looks slightly reptilian in some pictures. I am wondering if she has Dragonblood in her veins.
Her face has an odd sort of bony projection to it, and her mascara makes her eyes look a bit odd in some pictures, making them seem like reptilian slits.
There are people who claim she looks too manly, but she doesn't really look all that manly. The Man characters do not have anywhere near her degree of bony facial projection. She looks like she's part snake or something. Not in all pictures, but in some.
I am not such a coward that I won't outright state the visual impression she gives me.
Not dismissing what you are claiming, but could you be more specific.
Loghain, Alistair and a few other characters...maybe Calian?
Its been a few years since i bothered looking through pre release crap and comparing to in game.

This reminds me of a headcanon I have, in which every Pentaghast babies (and other children from famous Nevarran dragon hunter clan) are fed a drop of dragonblood right after their birth, so they will never fear dragons once they reach adulthood.
I have to disagree on the reptilian look though. If anything, her make-up intensifies her hawklike stare. Those hazel eyes! ![]()
You say that like it's a fact, but it's really just an opinion, and one that not everyone agrees with you about.
Personally, I like Cassandra's jawline. I find women with strong features attractive. So no, I don't think it's 'wrong' or 'monster'-like at all.
Same here. I think she looked perfect the way she was, and I hope BioWare didn't do anything too radical to her physical appearance, if they changed it at all. The tweet may have been in reference to something she said or something she was wearing, for all we know. Cassandra has never struck me as a character that BioWare would intend to fulfil the "traditional hawtness" with. She's got strong features, and I can't see them changing that because certain people complained about it.

Could make sense.
But on the second point, Hawks are Birds, Birds are Dinosaurs, and Dinosaurs are Reptiles.
I'm still right.

And not for the next five years and about as many games?

As I recall, I read that the white hair was either a bug, a lighting effect, or both.
And not for the next five years and about as many games?
What DA 2?
I didn't say anything about Mass effect 3 because it was a separate universe but if i can throw that into it...
Well let's just say there would be a longer list.
I'll still be very surprised if they do. And it certainly won't be because of "fan pressure" because when the hell have they ever caved into that before?

Bioware beater not pull an Ashley and ruin another strong female warrior.
I agree that would be wrong ME1 Ashley was so much more beautiful and awesome than ME3 Ashley
the change in appearance wasn't needed
But the problem is Cass really needs some tweaks to her face no comparison to ME1 Ashley

You say tastes are different, but your posts indicate that you're just another entitled man-child. I'm sorry that Cassandra is not a hyper sexualised choice, that's whole point of existence is there to be ****** material for you. I'm so sorry that you feel the need to need to say that she is too masculine looking, because strong woman intimidate you. But you know what I'm most sorry for? Is that you're not a part of the group of real men in this thread, who love cass as she is.
jesus what the hell is wrong with you?
so we (because I agree with him completely) aren't real men and are somehow intimidated by "strong women" because we don't like her way too manly face? great logic right there
no one wants Cassandra to be overly sexualised (like Ashley in Me3) BUT can't a man ask for a pretty face instead of a monster jaw and uglyness ?
Just look at Me1 Ashley she was a strong warrior type of woman and she looked beautiful there is the option to be both
"real men" thanks for the laugh btw
Could make sense.

..well she...she still has beautiful hazel eyes! ![]()
