I've made some characters like this before....

I'm confused by this obession over Cass having sharp facial features............she a warrior not a dainty orlesian princess. She shouldn't look soft and cuddly. She should look like she could break anyone who dares mess with her.

You can be strong without almost gaunt and bony with your weird gaunt, bony face. None of the strong male characters have that sort of sharpness, and so we can assume sharpness isn't such a prerequisite to strength.

 

She shouldn't look soft or cuddly, I agree. But from some angles she just looks scary or even outright sinister. Though from other angles she looks just fine.

 

I don't think she looks manly, or even particularly unfeminine. She's certainly not dainty and shouldn't be.

 

But she's just so strikingly odd looking. The way all of her facial features combine just confuses me a little bit because all of her features are a little odd.

 

I'm not going to insult people or get judgmental about it when people say that Cassandra looks weird. Cassandra looks very weird in a way that has little to do with strength. She's a weird looking woman. Not manly, because men don't look like that, but simply unusual.

 

Her features could stand to be a little less gaunt, but if she's supposed to look weird than I guess they should remain so.

trying to force political correctness or acting snobbish doesnt help forum are space where people voice their opinions good or bad. Trying to correct others beliefs cause you percieve a flaw in them only encourages animosity calm down. Leaving good fanbase because people disagreeing with you beliefs only hurts yourself

I'm thinking it's going to be a bit of love-hate, at least at first. Afterall, Cassandra holds a blade to your throat and imprisons you when you first meet. So....not the best of starting points.

 

That being said, it would make an awesome story to tell their kids.....
