Don't you dare mess with the natural order. I'm sorry that I have to do this but:
I like Hale.
Goodie for you?
Can we please get rid of that doghuman pic. Its freakin large. ![]()
Spoiler
._. It wasn't even that bad of an experiment really.
Especially for the universe it was in.
The Creation of Bradley after all took far more then merely the life of a dog and human.
Spoiler
i kind of hope she sometimes shows a soft side for her close friends (and for her significant other if she is romanced. gosh that would be so cute) , kind of like when she seemed impressed by me dueling the arishok
like morrigan with that friendship "sister" speech when you got her to 90+ friendly (and her almost-teary reaction when you gave her the mirror gift). that was so unexpected. i was almost in tears tbh
I kind of assumed a development like that was a given, personally. Her keeping her armor up the whole time doesn't exactly make for great character development.
Okay guys, enough FMA
This is about Cassandra.
We don't want this thread to get locked because of off topic stuff.
Fellas, she is closer to 40 than 30. If Bioware makes her a virgin, they're missing the whole point of dating an older woman.
So Cassandra's VA will be the one she had in Dawn of the Seeker?
Have they said if she was the one doing the voice work in the PAX demo? Because if so I have no complaints, as it sounded spot on.

Yes, because that situation has never happened before. ![]()
Not really.
._. Next you say Mengele deserved his fate despite advancing our knowledge of Genetics and Medicine forward at least three decades in four years.
O_O

No, in Inquisition she will have the VA she had in DA2.
But I agree, Colleen did a great job capturing Cassandra's voice. ![]()

Indeed. It's Miranda Raison, I believe.
Yes, because that situation has never happened before.
Samara had been Celibate for close to what?
Five hundred years before she possibly was romanced by Shepard.
You may as well be a virgin after half a millennia of well...Never having sex.
Speaking just for myself, you'd be wrong, but to each their own.
And to an extent I can agree with you that the important thing is that the relationship with the pc is special. Like I said, I'm being biased here; virginity is a real turn off for me. Don't ask me why; I don't know why. It just is. And the idea of someone's first relationship also being their last isn't one that sits well with me on a personal or thematic level. They're just not things that appeal to me. And the idea of waiting for marriage is utterly abhorrent to me.
I respect that others feel differently. This is just how I feel on the matter; unfortunately this is one of those situations where there's no compromise. If it turns out that Cassandra hasn't been with anyone else, I hope Hina and her camp enjoy it.
Different strokes and all that, I guess. I myself can never form an intimate a bond with someone I date as I can with my family. I may just not be suited to relationships, though.
Well, I doubt that Cass is really gonna be a virgin, so no worries there. Personally I'd be happiest if she wasn't completely inexperienced (since that really does seem very unlikely for an attractive woman her age), but also didn't particularly care for romance. It seems very in-character for her to put her work as right hand of the Divine before romantic entanglements.
Not really.

....Except he didn't do that. Mengele's work was scientifically useless; it was nothing but the sadistic indulgence of a deranged lunatic who thought he was a scientist.
MOVING ON.
Personally I preferred Cassandra's DA2 actress to her DotS actress, although I admit my extremely negative opinion of that movie may have colored my judgment on that one.
Also, Original Full Metal Alchemist anime > Brotherhood.
I don't understand where people are getting the "Cassandra is in her late 30s-40s" thing. It's been a while since I've seen DoTS, but don't they reference "What happened in Kirkwall" right at the end of the movie? And then the Divine hands Cass that book she throws at Varric. So DoTS actually happens after year 7 of DA2, correct? And anime Cass is definitely not mid-30s, let's be honest.
Unless I'm totally misremembering that, in which case feel free to correct me.

No, Dawn of the Seeker happens in 9:20 Dragon, we are in the year 9:40 Dragon. It's been 2 decades since that movie.

There was another rebellion in Kirkwall in 9:22, when the movie takes place.

...So the whole point of dating an older woman is the sex? That'd be news to me. ![]()
I mean, sure, the main point is that they are more experienced in the ways of life and all that, but that doesn't have to involve sex. And to be honest, I doubt Bioware has made Cass an LI to appease people who are into older women. Nor do I think it's gonna be a theme in her romance.
As a person who read the manga (which is the same as Brotherhood), I agree.FTFY

That's certainly something I can agree on. If anything I'd expect her romance subplot to heavily center around the fact that she's put her duty before herself for so long.
Just, on a thematic level, I think that's more powerful if she's had relationships before that fell apart due to her dedication to her work; it shows that she's actually lost something.
