No, Dawn of the Seeker happens in 9:20 Dragon, we are in the year 9:40 Dragon. It's been 2 decades since that movie.
Actually, it happens in 9:22. => see World of Thedas =)

I don't understand where people are getting the "Cassandra is in her late 30s-40s" thing. It's been a while since I've seen DoTS, but don't they reference "What happened in Kirkwall" right at the end of the movie? And then the Divine hands Cass that book she throws at Varric. So DoTS actually happens after year 7 of DA2, correct? And anime Cass is definitely not mid-30s, let's be honest.
Unless I'm totally misremembering that, in which case feel free to correct me.
DotS takes place in 9:22 dragon; there was another event in Kirkwall that happened around the same time; Viscount Dumar's predecessor threatened to expel the templars and they killed him.
As a person who read the manga (which is the same as Brotherhood), I agree.
On cassandra, if there's still be companions specs, how do you think hers would be like?
Idk if they'd make a whole spec about her dragon hunting background, or if they'd make it more Seeker-esque.
Who cares if Cass is 20 or 40, really?
I'd still love her to death even if she was in Wynne's age.

I think she will start as a Shield & Sword, but you can respec her to 2 handed if you want.
Also guys, can we please stop with this Mengele crap. Take it to PM if you want to keep discussing that guy.
o-o I liked her hair better in DA 2 if i am being completely honest.
...So the whole point of dating an older woman is the sex?
The whole point of dating regardless of age is obviously sex.
Actually, it happens in 9:22. => see World of Thedas =)
Not like World of Thedas has been without errors ![]()

Specializations, like Merrill's Dalish Pariah, Fenris' Tevinter Fugitive, etc. That goes beyond what weapons skills that she has.

Need i recite the opening passage?

The book is with out error until the Devs say otherwise.
Its God canon, the universe adapts to IT, not the other war around.

Oooh you meant that. I dunno to be honest. Probably something with the word "Seeker" in it ![]()

The Dragon Hunter one would be helpful.
Yeah, I know that. I meant her specialization. I wonder if it'll be like DA2, and which one she'd have.I think she will start as a Shield & Sword, but you can respec her to 2 handed if you want.

I don't really know which special skills Seekers have. Most have templars abilities, but Cass doesn't seem to have them.Idk if they'd make a whole spec about her dragon hunting background, or if they'd make it more Seeker-esque.

Which error are you talking about ?
...So the whole point of dating an older woman is the sex? That'd be news to me.
I mean, sure, the main point is that they are more experienced in the ways of life and all that, but that doesn't have to involve sex. And to be honest, I doubt Bioware has made Cass an LI to appease people who are into older women. Nor do I think it's gonna be a theme in her romance.
Well, a great number of people would claim the point of dating, regardless of the partner's age when compared to one's own, is the sex but that is a question best left to the philosophers.
I meant in a whish-fulfillement way which is what the romances, ultimately, are.
Which error are you talking about ?
There were a few timeline errors that they later corrected after the book had begun circulating.
Edit:
..but that is a question best left to the philosophers.
Huh? Each individual goal in life is a question for philosophers?
As a person who read the manga (which is the same as Brotherhood), I agree.

And the woman who wrote the manga agrees with me.
I imagine Cassandra's spec will be something closer to seeker centric. Dragons having been nearly extinct for centuries, I can't imagine the dragon hunting techniques haven't accumulated a bit of rust.

Yeah, Cass seems to be an exception to the Templars becoming Seekers rule, so she doesn't seem to hold any anti magic powers, but who knows if that has changed in the past 2 decades. Otherwise, the two big parts of her character that we know of are her Seeker status, and her family name of Pentaghast, which is known for dragon hunting.
Now, I hope Cass has special dialogue/banter/instructions when you actually fight against dragons.
Huh? Each individual goal in life is a question for philosophers?
Kain, please take it to the PMs so we can remain on topic.
Ah okay. I suppose that if the writers corrected some errors and didn't say anything about DOS happening in 9:22, it is safe to think that it is correct. ![]()
@ Milan, it won't be necessary, I was just curious right now but thanks.
Removed some off topic posts.

* Group attacked by a dragon for the first time*
Cassandra: "Inquisitor, what should we do?"
Inquisitor: "Why are you asking me? You're the dragon expert!"
or
Companion A: "Inquisitor, what should we do?"
Inquisitor: "I don't know. This is a first for me."
Companion B: "Uh, guys..." *points at something*
*See Cassandra run up some terrain and deal a critical hit on the dragon*
* Group attacked by a dragon for the first time*
Cassandra: "Inquisitor, what should we do?"
Inquisitor: "Run Away!"
