No, Dawn of the Seeker happens in 9:20 Dragon, we are in the year 9:40 Dragon. It's been 2 decades since that movie.

I don't understand where people are getting the "Cassandra is in her late 30s-40s" thing.  It's been a while since I've seen DoTS, but don't they reference "What happened in Kirkwall" right at the end of the movie?  And then the Divine hands Cass that book she throws at Varric.  So DoTS actually happens after year 7 of DA2, correct?  And anime Cass is definitely not mid-30s, let's be honest.

 

Unless I'm totally misremembering that, in which case feel free to correct me.

 

DotS takes place in 9:22 dragon; there was another event in Kirkwall that happened around the same time; Viscount Dumar's predecessor threatened to expel the templars and they killed him.

On cassandra, if there's still be companions specs, how do you think hers would be like?

Idk if they'd make a whole spec about her dragon hunting background, or if they'd make it more Seeker-esque.

I don't really know which special skills Seekers have. Most have templars abilities, but Cass doesn't seem to have them.

I mean, sure, the main point is that they are more experienced in the ways of life and all that, but that doesn't have to involve sex. And to be honest, I doubt Bioware has made Cass an LI to appease people who are into older women. Nor do I think it's gonna be a theme in her romance.

Well, a great number of people would claim the point of dating, regardless of the partner's age when compared to one's own, is the sex but that is a question best left to the philosophers.

I meant in a whish-fulfillement way which is what the romances, ultimately, are.

I imagine Cassandra's spec will be something closer to seeker centric. Dragons having been nearly extinct for centuries, I can't imagine the dragon hunting techniques haven't accumulated a bit of rust.

Yeah, Cass seems to be an exception to the Templars becoming Seekers rule, so she doesn't seem to hold any anti magic powers, but who knows if that has changed in the past 2 decades. Otherwise, the two big parts of her character that we know of are her Seeker status, and her family name of Pentaghast, which is known for dragon hunting.

 

Now, I hope Cass has special dialogue/banter/instructions when you actually fight against dragons.

Ah okay. I suppose that if the writers corrected some errors and didn't say anything about DOS happening in 9:22, it is safe to think that it is correct.
