I'd say that you can probably build s+s to be quite offensive. I had a s+s Vanguard/Templar/Bezerker in DA2 and he was bloody great. Not as deadly as my 2hander but stayed up a hell of a lot longer and dished out very satisfying damage.

Also I think you can still make her very tanky even if she doesn't have traditional Tank specialisation. We saw in the E3 vid last year that Cass had a lot of Armour Sundering abilities and thats gotta help the back line nukers

Yeah, and I had a 2 hander warrior tank in DA2.  It wasn't as effective at tanking damage as S+S but it did work pretty well.  I hope they keep that kind of design from DA2 where both styles can dps and tank but one is better than the other at a certain role.

Gameplay question for the Cass experts.

Will she be a Champion or a Templar? 

I think she will have her own specialization. 

 

Champion will be Blackwall

Reaver will be Iron Bull

Templar will be Cullen(even though he is not a companion, he can still teach it)

 

That's assuming they are going to do it that way rather than you learning specializations other ways. I really hope it is the latter, since the DAO way made no sense.

Looks like two women to me, look at the chest area, also the blonde is being led plus the hands are very feminine. Really love the short hairstyles.   Not sure who the two of em are tho, the one in red could be fem Inquisy maybe.

Most likely they will release Cassandra on weekend or Friday night. Why ?

 

1) Between Vivienne and Cassandra for poster and picture, Vivienne wins hands down in the looks and posing department. Cassandra is practical whereas Vivienne is all about fab. Fab gets you photo spots. 

 

2) Most likely they have tweaked Cassandra a bit and so they will be playing it safe and revealing her later and do it quietly in order to not raise too much of a s***storm.
