I like how battered her sword looks while her armor is pristine. The lady knows how to handle a fight. ![]()

Looks great.
And if they tweaked her face a little because of the complainers, then it's a real shame.
I too was worried about a change. But she turned out well. ![]()

Eh. The Qunari is Tal-vasoth. Its more forbidden with Dorian. A Dalish would probably be more conflicted.
Elves lack beards though.
My dudequisitor must have a beard.

And because I have to nitpick...
We can clearly see that she wears a belt around her waist to support the weight of the chain mail with a secondary belt leaning down to the left presumably to hold the sword scabbard, making her right handed. Yet she is drawing her sword with her left hand...
Those are portraits! Not action shots!
Cassandra: Why do I have to pose like this? It's completely wrong!
Portrait artist: Shush, woman! This is for posterity!
Cassandra: So I will be remembered as a fool who doesn't know her own sword arm?
Inquisitor: *sigh* Just hold the pose, Cassandra. You only have one portrait to pose for. I have to pose for eight!

She will have to be if she hopes to handle my Inquisitor.

Hard to tell as it's a very different angle but if I had to take a punt I'd suggest there's been a tweak.
She looks amazing in that picture, so I'm very happy and looking forward even more to meeting her.
She does look amazing.
I'm actually quite happy the Dagon Age team has created a number of attractive-looking women without relying on catsuits, stiletto heels, or flashing cleavage. Cassandra certainly demonstrates heavy armor can look stylish as well as practical.

I don't really see much difference with her look tbh.
If they did do something, it was probably subtle.

Although did she have the scar on the eyebrow before? I can't remember.

I think so. She's always had a few smaller scars to go with the one on her cheek.

Yeah, I just looked at the old screens - the gap in her right eyebrow for the scar has always been there.

Neither do I. On the other hand, I'm someone who thinks DoTS Cass, DAII Cass and DA:I Cass really look alike, soooooo... ![]()

They may have smoothed out some of her more angular features from earlier.
But yeah, if they did it's pretty subtle.

Amazing how much lighting, and background, and angle can change perspective. I doubt they changed her image, they used "Camera Magic" like they do with Hero Shots for movie posters. they dont change what the character looks like, just make them look better by using camera tricks.
Id be sad if cass changed so dramatically that she did not look like how she did in the pax gameplay, or the trailer's. She's a Warrior, she's going to look a little beat up from time to time, because no one is perfect. and a few scar's are sexy, all those people complaining Cassandra is not an "Orlesian Wall flower" can suck it. Woman is Gonna Kick ass, Take Names, and Look Orgasmic doing it.

I think she looks closer to DA2 Cass there than previous images. Tweak could just be in my imagination based on a different angle I suppose.

Not sure about Dawn of The Seeker Cassandra, but I can definitely see a lot of similarities between DA2 Cassandra and DA:I Cassandra. If DA2 Cass wasn't as clean-faced I'm thinking the similarities would have been a lot more obvious.

Who's Cassandra?
She is kind of like the female counterpart of Cullen. You either hate or you love her.
