Dual wield swords.
Unfortunately, I don' think we'll be able to build "Dawn of the Seeker" Cassandra.

She does like to talk shop.
Good, so do I. ![]()
I wonder where Cass will hang out in Skyhold. Armory? Training ground? Stables? Library? I also wonder if companion conversations will change based on story progression. I would assume yes.
Chapel ![]()
training grounds... a body like that doesnt happen over night XDI wonder where Cass will hang out in Skyhold. Armory? Training ground? Stables? Library? I also wonder if companion conversations will change based on story progression. I would assume yes.
Chapel
Actually that's pretty likely. She is the Believer after all.
Chapel
A chapel within a armory you mean
I agree with the chapel theory, but later on in the game, she'll hang out alot in my inquisitors bedroom ![]()
I can see Cassandra moving around between the chapel and the armoury. Probably hanging out with Iron Bull in the latter - they did say they like to talk shop between quests, after all.

Interesting choice of words... I don't think she's into that kind of thing.
Cassandra's going to be a two hander in my game just like in Heroes of Dragon Age. I'm going to make her a defender though, so i hope we can still make characters two handers but still reasonable defenders. Then again probably not because then what would be the advantage of sword and shield? maybe you can still be a two handed defender, but in different way? like drawing aggro and having high hp for damage soaking? i don't know. ![]()
I want to see Cassandra in the fortress Lauder, defending it against Giant Rats from the Kocari Wilds. This is the secret to her victory.
Speaking of which We didn't have any Giant Rats in DA2... I hope we get to kill someone in DA:I

Why do you want to make her a two hander?
Meh, everyone has their styles. I prefer sword and shield myself, if only because that Seeker shield looks so badass.
Why do you want to make her a two hander?
She was a two hander in Heroes of Dragon Age., and because shes the only female warrior in the group so I want to see her destroy stuff as well as protect me.
Becuase Animedreamer prefer her like a two-hander?Why do you want to make her a two hander?
Why do you want to make her a two hander?
I actually plan on doing that too.
I dunno, just how I always saw her. She's quite the warrior, so she's probably equally proficient in both styles.
Becuase Animedreamer prefer her like a two-hander?
Cassandra is canonically shown as good with different weapons. There's no reason to believe she's not as Good with a two-handed weapon as she is with a sword and shield.
Hell, you could give her a broom and she'd still slay maleficars with it.

Cassandra can handle anything. ![]()
My Magequisitor is gonna be a Knight Enchanter, so Cass will be sword-and-board. She'll take aggro and soak damage while I keep her defence up and rain righteous fire from above.
Gonna be a party.
I meant no offense, I am just curious as to why you would want to change her combat style. If she has her own specialization tree then I guess it will favour sword and shield.

I'm planning a similar tactic with my rogue. Cass will draw attention and I will flank. Teamwork! Yay!
My Inquisitor will be an extremely tanky warrior too, so my battle plan is just kicking arse back to back.
Aww yiss.

Perhaps, but it may branch, allowing you to choose defense or offense (S&S or 2hander).
If it has a sharp edge, I imagine Cassandra knows how to use it.

This. Already thinking of how to incorporate Wall of Fire into to strategies around this concept. .
