Blood magic is unavailable to the player this time.

Good thing too.

That Seeker sword would be up your arse and out your face before you can yell "Pro-life!"

As for regular mages, she had somewhat of a "romance" with a mage in Dawn of the Seeker.

I'm rolling a Magequisitor for my 1st run... I'm rather curious to see if her opinion on all magi has lightened, or if she still wants them all in the ground.

I foresee a turbulent first meeting.

Hah, I just remembered the devs said that certain choices you make in the game can lead to your death. When Cass first meets you, if the trailer is indicative at all, it ain't pleasant, it'd be kind of awesome if she would just kill you outright if you persist to rub her fur backwards, as it were.
I’d laugh my ass off.

The end of Dragon Age 2 implies that her opinion of mages has gradually been softening over the years. Rather than accusing the terrorist apostate Anders for the Kirkwall Rebellion, Cassandra blames the ax-crazy templar Meredith.

True.

My memory of DA2 ending is blurry though. I saw Isabela's portrait when Varric closed the book in the early part of the cut-scene... and spent the rest of it wondering "who the hell was that?"

I totally missed her the first time (still haven’t finished my second run.)

There is no way they'll let you support a mage autocracy. Don't even get your hopes up.

I worded that wrong. By mage Autocracy I should have stated mage Autonomy. Just basically freedom for mages. Though considering my character is a mage and heading the Inquisition I'm sure that will have some effect on magic in the Inquisition Order.

dots happened in 9:22 cass was pressumably 16-18. Dai takess place 9:42, which is 20 years so rough est is 36-38. Personally cass is 36 for my magequister who is 22 which means the 14yr gap is awsome cause cougers are awsome:)

I concur with cougars are awesome. My human warrior will be 24, so 12 years is fine for me :D

Thinking of Cassandra as an 'older woman' makes her looks a lot more attractive I think. Not that i particularly care what she looks like, but knowing that she is mid to late 30's adds a context to her looks. I wouldn't expect her to look "youthfully beautiful" as I would from other characters.

Or maybe I just like Cougars. Idk...

A galeon? Who's galeon? What's galeon?

Does Cassandra have a galleon now, that's been misplaced for 20 years?

Spoiler

I believe you mean Galyan, good sir.

And I'm net even sure he exists.

Dawn of the Seeker is like one of Varric's tales. It totally happened, but like that? Probably not.

Lorewise, the events happened that way. So I doubt Cassandra didn't meet Galyan.
Though I honestly don't see the problem if They knew each other in the past, Regardless of how their relationship went after the end of the movie.

Probably because I haven't gotten to any of the book I s'pose. DOTS just feels really detached from the games... I couldn't take it overly seriously. Liked it... Cassandra, of course I liked it, but yeah... never read too much into Galyan. He felt like the token awkward helper character, which also felt detached from the games. I would liked him to Cass' companion, as in the player's companions, but... he was... lacking?

Yeah, I don't care. If he's mentioned I'll be surprised... potentially pleasantly. But if he ain’t, I won't notice.

After Dawn of the Seeker, Cassandra took Regalyan to a nice seafood dinner and then she never called him again.

When watching that final scene, where she kissed him on the cheek, I had the impression it meant something very different to him than it did her.

He was like: Holy crap, she kissed me! Diamonds-or-sapphires-dammit-I-need-flowers... Maker help me.
Whereas Cass was: He's a mage and alright, I don't... I don't care about logic right now. *smiles*

I just finished watching Dawn of the Seeker. It was... kinda boring actually. As over the top as it was the action wasn't really engaging.

That creepy mage dude was fun though.
